I've got this unhinged liberal fb "friend" who posted on his fb page that he will be blocking anyone who "insults" that Greta kid, he also posts climate change (he claims to be a scientist of some sort) BS and all sort of liberal BS agendas on fb multiple times daily non-stop lol, now I am really starting to wonder if this guy is being paid for doing it, the dude is relentless.

I have not unfriended him (so far) just for the LOLs :p

Give Greta some credit.

She's doing a lot more than most of the people out here. Plus she flexes harder than most men. And don't get me started on how she's literally putting most of the do-nothing Hollywood celebrities to shame.

It sounds like you have more of an issue with your friend than they do with you........

I don't care who anyone insults. That's on them to answer when the time comes. But we should still have a conversation about how public discourse devolves in such ways. What I mean is, both sides should give their point of view and lets the cards fall where they may. There's no reason to get mad, personal or butthurt.

Just the other day there was a teacher talking about not having his sniper rifle ready for Greta Thunberg. Now I thought I've seen low, but that shit takes the cake. Like really, you want to snipe a little kid? I guess the guy is on "administrative leave", which seems like a softball approach to a guy with a sniper rifle.

I hope the dude reads this too. Because I'm going to snipe your ass bro.

i agree that no one should get violent, so i hope you also felt that way about the antifa thugs. thats what they want. anyone on the left OR right becoming violent should be immediately condemned. we must keep cool heads at all times, especially in the coming months as the 2020 elections approach. things might become very ugly as the tensions rise.

i also agree that people should be given credit for getting off of their ass for any activism, but in her case, shes being paraded around by her parents, who act as her handlers. shes thrust into the spotlight as the postergirl for climate change, and we really dont know if its genuine or not. from the videos that others have posted, it seems that shes being used as a tool by her agenda-driven parents.

Totally agree. I've always condemned violent acts. As far as fringe groups on the right or left, I want to make sure to know who is guilty before I condemn a whole group. I like some arguments on both sides so I try to be as fair and balanced as possible.

Also, agree that things might get ugly. It's already looking like a full-on gas attack against Trump and anyone who supports him. And I'm strongly against gas attacks. Mainly because the gas attacker has been gassed so to speak. What I mean is, deploying gas is indicative of the total shitbags a person surrounds themselves with. These are people desperate to have any little bit of power over each other, and so the vicious gas cycle is born.

For argument's sake, I will give you one point. It is too early to tell where this is all going. But we should wait it out and see before we jump to conclusions. Plus the story I heard is that it's Greta's agenda. Of course, there's no way to prove that beyond any doubt. So again I say we should just wait and see.

We already know that the media is self-serving. They will eat this kid alive if they are able. That is what we should be watching for, not who is whispering in whos ear. Remember what I was saying about gas attackers? We need to be burning them all down.

based on what i have seen, i would disagree. there is a video floating around where greta is asked a few simple questions but stumbles on them and asks the interviewer to defer to another colleague on stage. its as if she was off of her script and couldnt answer.
there are also videos of her acting strangely. several members have posted evidence of it.

shes the darling of the leftist media. the right slanted media (fox and the internet) thinks shes a puppet.

id also like to point out that anyone who enters the spotlight will be subject to public scrutiny and criticism. thats the price of being a celeb; those like her or those with their 15 minutes of fame. if the criticism is too harsh for her, she can simply step away and go back to safety in obscurity.

Watch my video. Shes an actor from an actor family and was following a script, her grandfather was also a mason who was the first to blame C02 pollutants way back in the day. This a family under the pay of the elite. They dont care about some kid sitting outside of the riksdag like that, she probably didnt even sit there.

Ive taken away the crap in the beginning so you can see.

These pictures ... it's like running around as the boss of a company with the golden rolex, saying we don't make enough profit. If this "one eye symbolism" would be more well-known, I'd have a lot of fun. That would be a great show.

After her American tour, how is Greta Thunberg getting home?
The 60-foot yacht she chartered to get her to New York has returned to Europe, and Thunberg says she does not know how she will return to Sweden

Greta Thunberg, the 16-year-old Swedish climate activist, has been making waves the world over with powerful speeches and appearances in climate strikes.

Since late August, she’s been on a tour of North America, attending rallies, meeting with world leaders, and speaking at the United Nations Climate Action Summit in New York City. She’s set to march in a climate strike in Edmonton on Friday, Oct. 18.

Thunberg has said she received many requests to speak at events internationally, but declined due to the extensive travel it would require. But she decided to make an exception to attend the UN climate summit as well as a major UN climate change conference in Santiago, Chile, where her trip is scheduled to end.

I don't know yet how I will get home

Her trip to North America is well-documented — she sailed for 15 days from England to New York on a carbon-neutral racing yacht to avoid the huge impact air travel has on carbon emissions.

But now that she’s finally here, some have begun to wonder: how is she getting back home to Sweden?

Before she left England in August, she said “I don’t know yet how I will get home,” according to the Daily Mail.

For starters, the boat she took to get to New York, the Malizia II, has returned to Europe. Despite trying to avoid carbon emissions, her organization has seen some criticism because the crew returned by plane — her team said the emissions were offset.

Which means that Thunberg is left with either chartering a plane, which she refuses to do, hopping on a commercial cruise line, which she’s also spoken out against because of the emissions, or chartering another carbon neutral boat to come pick her up.

“Greta doesn’t take airplanes so she’ll have to get to both Chile and back to Sweden using other modes of transportation,” a spokesperson for Thunberg’s team told Vox.

“The details are not confirmed yet.”

Maybe she can start a GoFundMe... oh wait, yeah, nevermind.
