Let's add something else here. Walmart has more cameras than any current store going in the US. They have a team of employees in a room monitoring everything including the parking lots in the most modern way possible. My understanding is there are no armed guards with the exception of a few stores but all are tied into local police departments. And then there is their facial recognition tools which are supposedly tied in with the government. All self check out lines have said tech in your face and says you are being monitored and you are for emotion, etc. It is very invasive and in plain sight. Then there is the latest zoom tech with their other cameras which are everywhere including every check outstation. In short, they cover every inch of the store including a very large parking lot with the latest tech. The stores are testing grounds for many things but noted for their unusually high tech monitoring. They have admitted to being able to eavesdrop on its employees and customers in their stores a couple of years ago.
All that with 4k cameras and facial recognition, and this is the best footage they give the public.#believable

Now I only have one HONEST question: if this guy only has ONE clip (seen in the weapon-no web belts, packs etc.) then how did he shoot so many people? Curiouser and curiouser....

I would guess the average retail security system is about 5 years out of date.

What about the speculation there are pictures with the shooter wearing two different pairs of pants?

I appreciate you keeping it real because it is that bad out here anymore. I mean slave wages, and a total lack of empathy for one another is definitely a recipe for disaster. Plus I think massive amounts of people are suffering from some deep depression. Where they can't even talk about much of anything without a gripping fear of the stigma that goes with it.
That is because this has become a trauma based, mind-controlled society. MK Ultra writ large. And that tends to create fractured personalities capable of disassociation and narcissism. The first clue shoulda been the studies proclaiming narcissism to be at epidemic levels. That is what it is in and of itself. It's true nature. Everything else is incidental (but is not lost on the "controllers' of this sad little play. More crisis means more opportunity to introduce even with more damaging policies.)

Sure looks that way in the photos that were released. One pair of pants more brown with cargo pockets and another pair after arrest that looks white/beige with no cargo pockets. So are we to assume that he went to the sporting dept. and grabbed more bullets before stopping by menswear and grabbing some new pants? As for security cameras, well, the first digital camera ever provided a better picture than that nonsense they put out.

Pretty much agree. Although I don't remember hearing about narcissism being declared an epidemic. I don't think most people are that bad, at least individually.

Yeah, I was just wondering if anyone else heard about the pants thing. And you are probably right about the poor picture quality. It's weird, a kids toy camera could have taken a better snapshot.

Hey Colonel Cornholio, are you even paying attention to what the MSM is not saying, yet everyone else seems to be finding out? Stop jerking your knee, and use your brain. The poor kid is probably MK'd out the wazoo. He is not a "Trump supporter," much to your chagrin, or a "white supremacist" unless you count some vague notion of him being a fan of Elizabeth "Fauxcohontas" Warren.

If silence means anything, I think the Colonel may have been banned for something. As for Walmart's cams. they are the best money can buy. There is not an inch of their store they cannot watch and listen in on. They had facial recognition tech before many knew what it was. Some stores even have boxes where you can sell your smartphone or get a price, but it requires facial recognition, your license number and then you hook your phone up to a device which reads it (we know what it really reads) and they have a complete file on you.. And people trust these kiosks and all the information is shared. They also read tour emotions while shopping and yet they cannot produce a good video of what happened. The next time you go to Fort Walmart: look at all the cameras inside and out of the stores.

I'd mentioned the controversial NDAA, of which i'd forgotten the year but here are the details.

The NDAA also applies the laws of war on American soil―except under this law, everyone, whether an American citizen or not, is robbed of their rights. Under Section 1021, anyone who has committed a belligerent act, which even the government could not define when questioned in court, can be detained indefinitely, without charges or trial, as a “suspected terrorist.”

In essence, the 2012 NDAA brought the war on terror home. It is the authority used to kill American citizens abroad and justify the abuses at Guantanamo Bay. And now it applies on American soil.
SM: Who are the “covered persons” in the 2012 NDAA?

DJ: The 2012 NDAA’s detention provisions apply to anyone, anywhere. But who is most likely to have the NDAA used against them? It depends on how you define the word terrorist.

The Department of Homeland Security said that individuals or organizations “reverent of individual liberty” and “suspicious of centralized federal authority” pose a threat. The state of Georgia calls publishing “public records” terrorism. The FBI added the director of an anti-fracking film to the terror watchlist; and tells business owners to look for terrorists via “strange odors,” “ordering a specific hotel room,” and demanding “identity ‘privacy’ in dozens of their documents.

The government won’t define “terrorist” in order to keep their options flexible. So it means whatever they want it to mean, at any point. And under the 2012 NDAA, the term “terrorist” can be applied to whomever they want to apply it to, at any point.[/I}

A previous champion of the fight against the NDAA was Rep. Justin Amash, but recently, no representative in either house has introduced legislation to curb the NDAA. It is the realization of one of my greatest fears: once Americans forget about this legislation, that’s when it will be used en masse.

SM: When will this bill expire?

DJ: When will the war on terror end? That’s when the NDAA powers expire. America entered this war with the Authorization for Use of Military Force in 2001, which authorized “necessary and appropriate force” to go after Al-Qaeda and the Taliban, and to go to war in Afghanistan. It is also the same bill quoted by the 2012 NDAA.

So when the war on terror ends, that’s when these extraordinary military powers will end. And in all probability, the answer is never.

Yeah, that's what I hate about self-checkout. I probably looked ticked off (because I am at having a camera in my face). Camera adds 10-15 lbs which is why newspeople look so much smaller in real life. Target has that on self-checkout, too.

But people still get killed in Europe? That didn’t end did it?
People keep getting killed in Europe like pretty much anywhere in the world (gun control doesn't stop murder & criminality unfortunately). But at least we don't have routinely MASS shooting committed by our own citizens taking dozens of lives in a few minutes span.

El Paso Shooter Identified Online As Trump Supporter Who Didn’t Like ‘Race Mixing’

So who is the threat here? Once again we see what the right really is.

The level of violence isn’t even comparable but Ted Cruz wants to label Antifa as a terrorist group. Antifa protects people from these terrorists.
Once again someone wants to blame someone other then the shooter. This is not Trumps, Antifas, Or Bill fucking Cosby’s fault. Some nut shot ppl. It’s his fault.

Psychology is a micro practice, you look at the mind as an island

Sociology is a macro practice, it ignores the mind (for the most part) and looks at the environment surrounding it.

Social work looks at both. That’s what we need to be doing.

The problem is people use these situations to blame someone or something. At the end of the day mass shootings will never stop. Just like murder, r*pe, robbery, theft, etc. Crime will never stop. Question is how can citizens protect themselves from these events. It’s not the police job to protect, they are supposed to solve crimes. Arrest those whom committed crimes.

Well actually police pledge and oath to PROTECT and serve. So it is their job on some level... it doesn’t actually end up happening that way but in theory it is supposed to.

Acknowledging factors that contribute is not the same thing as blaming someone else. Looking at all contributing factors is really the only way we are ever going to decrease this.

And yes there will always be crime but that doesn’t mean we bury our heads in the sand build ourselves a fortress and do nothing to try to improve the overall situation. Only worrying about ourselves. That’s myopic and fatalist in my opinion.
