I watched a movie, all evidence was gathered from Bible about how it will be in millennia. Basically Eden again...
Won’t they be burning the fuel from the weapons against God for 7 years? Idk if it will start out like eden?

Who ? What? As in literally burning fuel ? I don't think I understood what you meant.

Ezekiel‬ ‭39:9‬ ‭
Then those who inhabit the cities of Israel will go out and make fires with the weapons and burn them, both shields and bucklers, bows and arrows, war clubs and spears, and for seven years they will make fires of them.

Had to reread all chapter, thanks for that :).
Interesting thought... Why burning weapons seems very appropriate...

I think sin depends on more on the condition of the heart, not on the externals. My mum doesn’t bother with make up much (partly due to being a bit allergic to it). My wife and daughter like to do nice make up, but not out of vanity, just because they like to...

I had a thought that as Eve (before the Fall) was likely more beautiful and less likely to benefit from make up that women today, doing great make up is in a sense just an echo of the beauty that God put in creation at the beginning. I can appreciate a beautiful woman in the same way as a great sunset or a cute dog - all evidence of the aesthetic beauty of God’s creative heart.
I actually see your point but IMO "echoing" God's creation would rather be expressed through not wearing make up at all and embracing our natural form since God made us as He wanted. As far as I know, sunset or puppy don't any any artificial means to be appreciated and found beautiful.

I'm not really fond of the idea of debating about Scriptures' characters attractiveness imo (assuming Eve was pretty or that post questioning whether Jesus was hot) . Such 'shallowness' has no place in the meditation of the Scriptures to me. Some character have been described as attractive (David if I remember right(?)) but if no such statements has been said about plenty other ones, I think that's purposeful. It's not relevant to their character (most were probably very common-looking but it wasn't remotely relevant to their purpose).

Also just a look on what make up culture has become is enough for me to be wary about it. It ended up being a grotesque manipulation of people's insecurities to push them reaching unattainable uniformized standards of "beauty".
Like you rightfully said, it totally depends of what's in our hearts. Some women won't be able to go outside without make up while for others it's just a handy tool to diminish some flaws and look more comely. Vanity is the main factor.
For me it's the latter (esp since my job requires to look 'professional'), but I'm looking for wearing less make up in the future (not that I'm wearing that much right now ; my routine consists of : shimmery liquid foundation + mascara+ brow coloured gel + a few highlighting). I'm learning to love me as I am but that's not easy...

Less is more. I wear hardly any and have been told I'm a natural beauty. Aww. Some people are so sweet. But then others love it and wear it and look good. It's more about the heart and the reasons for doing so.

A friend of mine told me, “When I worry, I go to the mirror and say to myself, ‘This tremendous thing that worries me is beyond solution. It is even too hard for God to handle.’ And then I smile.”

It’s funny how sometimes the last thing we think to do is take our problems to the Lord, when talking to Him should be the first thing we do.

Saw this in a book I was reading and I agree with that sentiment. I remember years ago I would talk to other Christians when I had problems, instead of going to the Lord first. And I used to think afterwards that maybe I should have went to the Lord first which I think was God changing my mind.

Prayer does change people...we start seeing things from God’s POV. And we learn that God is our helper not other Christians or anyone else. God is the only One who can actually help us and understanding that is when I started going to Him first!

The Lord wants us to cry out to Him, He delights to hear our voice and the needs we have. He longs to be the first one we turn to when we are low in the valley. And even though He sees us and already knows our needs before we ask, He nonetheless call us to pray to Him (Matthew 6:6-8). Our prayers for help highlight God’s power and strength as the only thing that can truly rescue us.

I used to think that there was an end zone..that maybe one day I could get it all together and have no worries or problems but I realized like Jason Robards character that it never ends, there’s always something.

As a new Christian I thought that God would get me to the stage where I wouldn’t have any worries or problems and then I could take over from there. It took me awhile to realize that no, that’s not what God does...He brings you closer to Him and the need for Him doesn’t end...that’s not a bad thing.
