Is the Story of Jesus a re-telling of Horus?

Shalom All! :)

The answer is simply Yes.

Just like Paul plagiarized Plato and Aristotle, the story of Jesus comes from a Satanic origin. If you call yourself a Christian, then you ought to know who it is you are worshipping. Look up Horus and see all the striking resemblances to your "savior," the one that is never mentioned in prophecy by name nor by his mission in the Hebrew Scriptures.

Regarding the story of Horus, the ancient Egyptian god:

"What if I told you there was once an ancient religion whose God was conceived by a virgin named Meri and had a stepfather named Seb (Joseph)?

What if I told you this God was born in a cave and his birth was announced by an angel, heralded by a star and attended by shepherds?

He attended a special rite of passage at the age of twelve (although the ancient texts describing this God are silent about His life from the age of 12 to 30).

At 30 years of age, this God was baptized in a river (His baptizer was later beheaded). He had 12 disciples, performed miracles, exorcized demons, raised someone from the dead, and even walked on water.

They called Him “Iusa”, the “ever-becoming son” and the “Holy Child”.

He delivered a “Sermon on the Mount”, and his followers recounted his sayings.

He was transfigured on a mount and eventually crucified between two thieves. He was buried for three days in a tomb and rose from the dead.

His followers called Him “Way”, “the Truth the Light”, “Messiah”, “God’s Anointed Son”, “Son of Man”, “Good Shepherd”, “Lamb of God”, “Word made flesh”, “Word of Truth”, “the KRST” or “Anointed One”.

He was also known as “the Fisher” and was associated with the Fish, Lamb and Lion.
According to this ancient religion, this God came to fulfill the Law and was supposed to reign one thousand years. Sounds a lot like Jesus doesn’t it?

This info was taken from a Christian website that goes on to TRY and refute these claims, but the similarities are too great to ignore. Christians have been duped.

Shalom :)

Almost every Christian practice or belief has a satanic origin
it is both scary as well as sad

Where and how did he plagiarize? I'd like you to add this to your "Nuggets" series, please.
You see now you're approaching me with respect. I appreciate that, thank you. I will answer your questions momentarily.

Shalom

And BTW, if anyone agrees with the argument that the messiah Yahshua ["Christ Jesus"] was a rip-off of Horus, then you also have to consider the argument that The Adversary [Satan] is a rip-off of Set.

For an intersting, intellectually satisfying and devestating rebuttal to the 'truth' community hobby horse of Zeitgeist, Dionysus, Mithras, Horus etc I wholeheartedly recommend 'Forbidden Secrets of the Labyrinth' by Mark A Flynn...

Of course, If you WANT to believe Christianity is just a repackaging of pagan myth, you will find plenty of like minded people who want nothing to to with Jesus Christ will gladly support you in that view...

My advice - take a look at alternative views. I usually research things by looking at something that strikes me as interesting and see what view is presented, then try 'interesting idea' + debunked, then chew it over for a bit. Truth is hard to arrive at otherwise no-one would watch CNN and Netflix

This is one of the various reasons why I take Christianity with a grain of salt.
To outsiders of Christianity, it might sound very similar at first. When you examine details further it starts to fall apart.
Another analysis. https://www.gotquestions.org/Jesus-myth.html

From non-Christian website which summarizes ancient Egyptian gods:
Myth of Horus says ISIS was mother of Horus. http://www.egyptianmyths.net/horus.htm
Myth of Osiris says Osiris was the first child of NUT and GEB, and therefore the brother of Seth, Nephthys, and Isis.
http://www.egyptianmyths.net/osiris.htm

Compare to Mary being told by the angel Gabriel that she was going to conceive Jesus via the Holy Spirit. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke+1:26-38&version=KJV

Totally contradicts such claims.

Occult science is a lot like "The Force" from the Star Wars saga; There is a good side and there is a dark side.
Remember, "occult" means "hidden".
There is a striking resemblance between myself and the very young Anakin Skywalker...
I certainly know how to look up Egyptian mythology by myself. If your sources are good ones then readers here would be very interested.

Here is a Christian apologetics site's explanation with video link. http://www.tektonics.org/copycat/osy.php
Listen, you need to let go of your Christian apologetics my friend if you ever want to learn the Truth. All "higher learning centers" are controlled and only distribute lies and illogical arguments.

My gentle suggestion to you is to research the Bible for yourself and stop looking to your masters to explain it for you...

Shalom

My masters? I certainly do not have any masters.... I am not a Theosophist or New Ager.
I have read the bible thoroughly for myself, therefore I can recognize good Christian websites that answer claims like yours when I see them.
