Music is amoral, in the sense that it isn't capable of being good or evil. It just is.

Of course, music can move people. It can inspire them. It can change their lives. It can make them see the world in a way they never thought to before. But music can't make you change your mind about your beliefs; not if they are genuine. I've listened to bands like Venom for almost two decades now... And I can't say I ever once thought about selling my soul to the Devil.

Got a new one for y'all. Vampire Weekend's "Harmony Hall". Note the sigils, snakes, a frog (unclean spirits like frogs go out from the beast and false prophet in Revelation), that infinity star thing being repeated, 666 after the snake opens its mouth, and ELLOLAR (what does that even mean?; had to slow it down to see what the word even was). And I used to like Vampire Weekend. Thought they were fun and quirky, maybe just a little subversive with f-bombs in "Oxford Comma" and "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa".

Also, I love Hozier's voice but think his songs are evil and one is blasphemous ("Take Me to Church").

I should've seen it coming with Vampire Weekend. "Unbelievers", "Everlasting Arms" and "Ya Hey" were pretty obvious.

When I was wandering in the desert and was searching for the truth
I heard a choir of angels calling out my name
I had the feeling that my life would never be the same again
I turned my face towards the barren sun
And I know, of the pain, that you feel the same as me
And I dream, of the rain, as it falls upon the leaves
And the cracks, in our lives, like a cracks upon the ground
They are sealed, and are now, washed away
You tell me we can start the rain
You tell me that we all can change
You tell me we can find something to wash the tears away
You tell me we can start the rain
You tell me that we all can change
You tell me we can find something to wash the tears
And I know, of the pain, that you feel the same as me
And I dream, of the rain, as it falls upon the leaves
And the cracks, in the ground, like the cracks are in our lives
They are sealed, and are now, far away
You tell me we can start the rain
You tell me that we all can change
You tell me we can find something to wash the tears away
You tell me we can start the rain
You tell me that we all can change
You tell me we can find something to wash the tears
You tell me we can start the rain
You tell me that we all can change
You tell me we can find something to wash the tears away
You tell me we can start the rain
You tell me that we all can change
You tell me we can find something to wash the tears
And I know, of the pain, that you feel the same as me

And the cracks, in the ground, like the cracks are in our lives
They are sealed, and are now, far away

The first time I heard Hozier (the church song) I was so uncomfortable but oddly drawn in. I tried to avoid it because some songs just don’t sit right with me, and I usually want to listen to them but something tells me not to. It’s kinda crazy, something seemingly innocent as music, but it’s a real trigger for me? I just knew he was an artist I wasn’t supposed to be hearing, but I love his voice.

Same here. Captivating voice. i liked the song until the video and reading up on the song's background for more understanding.

Writing after a breakup,

Lyrically, "Take Me to Church" is a metaphor, with the protagonist comparing his lover to religion. The song grew out of Hozier's frustration with the Catholic Church's teachings which, although he himself was raised in the Protestant
Quaker faith, dominated the social and political outlook of the Irish state.[5] "Growing up, I always saw the hypocrisy of the Catholic church", Hozier said in an interview with Rolling Stone. "The history speaks for itself and I grew incredibly frustrated and angry. I essentially just put that into my words."

Yes! I really like his voice yet I can't stand the lyrics to any of his songs. Found myself humming and singing to "Someone New":

And so I fall in love just a little ol' little bit
Every day with someone new

Basically, a string of infatuations. Have been there. No thanks. :)

I wish he was using his great powerhouse voice for more noble pursuits.

I really liked Work Song, but yesterday I went back and listened to the lyrics and it just made me feel empty.

He’s not wrong about the Catholic Church and it’s a shame the world largely looks at Catholicism as the true representation of Christianity because it isn’t. And then when people see the Catholic Church for what it is, they turn away from Christ all together. I can understand his dissatisfaction but it’s misguided sadly.

I think that his frustration was both from RCC's view on homosexuality as a sin(hence take me to church......like re-education) but also the irony (although he doesn't say but it must be obvious) in the fact that despite that stance, you have RCC priests raping little boys, closeted affairs and homosexual orgies.

The Neighborhood - Afraid

i used to love this song and I thought it was talking about a guy who was lack of confidence, but recently I found that maybe it actually talked about someone who making a deal with devil and was an MK slave

parts of the lyrics:
“When I wake up, I’m afraid
Somebody else might take my place
When I wake up, I’m afraid
Somebody else might end up being me”

“You’re too mean, I don’t like you, fuck you anyway
You make me wanna scream at the top of my lungs
It hurts but I won’t fight you
You suck anyway
You make me wanna die”

“Keep on dreaming, don’t stop giving, fight those demons
Sell your soul, not your whole self”

“Being me can only mean
Feeling scared to breathe
If you leave me then I’ll be afraid of everything
That makes me anxious, gives me patience, calms me down
Lets me face this, let me sleep, and when I wake up
Let me breathe”

This song has been played a lot on my favorite radio station and left me with an eerie feeling the first time I heard it, yet I kinda like the song. That's the whole problem, isn't it? All these are songs I like or have liked, like my liking of Hozier's voice. They're all meant to draw people in.

Matt is dark. See Hallucinogenics and Straight Razor, too.

And he's touring with NeedtoBreathe on a couple shows, which is a Christian band.

Not for the faint hearted. I have only recently come across this depraved band. It has 33 million views. Absolutely vile.

Linking Park - New Divide
I watched a video someone telling that this song is like about Lucifer when he was banished from heaven, from his perspective. My sister told me about a girl who was possessed and she got deliverance and people were praying for her. The demon that was inside her was like saying that he regrets for following Lucifer and they can never be in heaven anymore. Well it’s too late. What’s done is done.

Here’s the lyrics:

I remember black skies
The lightning all around me
I remember each flash
As time began to blur
Like a startling sign
That fate had finally found me
And your voice was all I heard
That I get what I deserve

So give me reason
To prove me wrong
To wash this memory clean
Let the floods cross
The distance in your eyes
Give me reason
To fill this hole
Connect this space between
Let it be enough to reach the truth that lies
Across this new divide

There was nothing inside
The memories left abandoned
There was nowhere to hide
The ashes fell like snow
And the ground caved in
Between where we were standing
And your voice was all I heard
That I get what I deserve

So give me reason
To prove me wrong
To wash this memory clean
Let the floods cross
The distance in your eyes
Across this new divide

In every loss in every lie
In every truth that you deny
And each regret and each goodbye
Was a mistake too great to hide
And your voice was all I heard
That I get what I deserve
So give me reason
To prove me wrong

To wash this memory clean
Let the floods cross
The distance in your eyes
Give me reason
To fill this hole
Connect this space between
Let it be enough to reach the truth that lies
Across this new divide
Across this new divide
Across this new divide

Music will influence a person on an unconscious level. Of course, they might not be consciously aware of it but that's to be expected.

Does it?

I hear people say that a lot but when I've seen people who listen to black metal be more charitable and caring over their fellow man than the fundimentalists that love to find the devil in everything... I'm inclined to believe that the music you listen to doesn't influnce people nearly as much as folks would like to believe.

It's the Freemasons symbol which makes this video even more sinister, also Knights Templars imagery.

That might well be the case but the point is that black metal is not the mainstream. It's a nichè market, a small demographic. Artists such as Emporer and Mayhem don't really have the same reach as your Lady Gaga's and Beyonces. Look at the view figures on some of their video's, some are over a billion.

So let's say you worked at the Tavistick Institute and you wanted to influence a generation of kids to think a certain way. Who are you going to use Lady Gage or Mayhem?...... the answer is obvious.

If the music industry was just some benign side show for the purposes of our entertainment then the Tavistick Institute would have no.interest in it. Do you honestly believe that TPTB would not try and utilise the entertainment industry to socially engineer the mindset of a whole generation of kids?. They've been doing it for years.

A great work of art such as a painting is constructed with many carefully placed brush strokes, time is taken, skill is used.

That's what mainstream artists do, they each make a brush stroke in our minds, in our subconscious minds.

And let me tell you, the picture they are painting ain't a pretty one.

Every genre of music has been infected. Here is Chris Brown, a nice gentle introduction to our kids. Nothing too heavy here just a nod to his paymasters with a reversed 322 on the taxi, Eyes Wide Shut type charachters, demonic possession, witchcraft etc

Next thing he's doing sex education videos with Satans sister Nikki Minaj

(Lyrics)

Haha, haha, haha, ha

Monkey on the dick, monkey on the dick (Ooh, ooh)

'Cause you done had your heart broke, and you've had enough

All ’em other dudes had their chance, now they out of luck
When I bust a nut, I don’t never wanna cuddle, no
I went to the club, and guess who I seen?
A motherfucker that been stuntin' on me
I told one of the macks, "Yo, back the thing out"
Ain’t showin' off my jewels, but shots gon' ring out
Now that's what I get for fuckin’ with that dub (Monkey on the dick, monkey on the dick, ooh, ooh)
For all my real niggas, I'm showin' 'em mad love (Monkey on the dick, monkey—)

Baby, show me that shit, show me love, show me—show me love

Wobble on the dick (It's Gerry), wobble up, wobble—wobble up (Ayy)

Okay, now show me what you gon' do on the big stage (Ayy)
'Cause I'm headin' to Miami for a big rage (Vroom)
I'm on 10 and 11, it's been six days (Ayy)
Yeah, but she gon' ride the pipe in 26 ways (Got monkey on the dick)
Ayy, the way you bounce on it
I might have to fuck around and spend a house on it
Down Rodeo, now I'm spendin' large amounts on it
Swipe the platinum, I might empty my accounts on it—sheesh
She said her man's a jerk
So I pulled up while her man's at work (Monkey on the dick, I got–)
Yeah, she had the night shift, I made her cancel work
Then I asked her twerk on the D, I pulled out, splashed her shirt (Ooh, ooh)

Baby, show me that shit, show me love, show me—show me love
Show me that shit, show me love, show me—show me love
Wobble on the dick, wobble up, wobble—wobble up
Wobble on the dick, wobble up, wobble—wobble up
Show me that shit, show me love, show me—show me love
Show me that shit, show me love, show me—show me love
Wobble on the dick, wobble up, wobble—wobble up
Wobble on the dick, wobble up, wobble—wobble up

Bad bitches in the lobby but they wait for me (Huh)
I don't pay for pussy (Huh), they should be payin' me
Give me a lap dance, she said, "This one for free"
She feelin' on my D, askin' can she have it please
And she know I like it (Yeah)
I ain't worried 'bout my pull out game
'Cause I can't hide it, I'm over-excited
What you wanna do to me?

Monkey on the dick, monkey on the dick (Ooh, ooh)
Monkey on the dick, monkey on the dick

Baby, show me that shit, show me love, show me—show me love
Show me that shit, show me love, show me—show me love
Wobble on the dick, wobble up, wobble—wobble up
Wobble on the dick, wobble up, wobble—wobble up
Show me that shit, show me love, show me—show me love
Show me that shit, show me love, show me—show me love
Wobble on the dick, wobble up, wobble—wobble up
Wobble on the dick, wobble up, wobble—wobble u

It may be wise to note the lines about going to Miami for a big rage. When places and numbers crop up in certain songs we often see some terrible event occur there some time later.
