You've built an entire strawman argument. The Babylonian Sabattu was not celebrated on Sunday, but on what we know as Saturday, because the Babylonian deity to whom the day was dedicated, Nimrod, is linked with Saturn.

The Hebrew calendar took the names of months and days from this Babylonian calendar, and the Shabbat with it.
Like I said God's Sabbath came before whatever sabbath you're talking about because it was instituted at creation. This was before any Babylonian paganism existed. Then the Catholic Church changed the day from God's Sabbath to Sunday as I've shown. These are historical facts too. Sunday is a pagan worship day. I will stick to Bible truth because the creator of this world created the earth and all that is in it including the days and time and told us which day to rest and worship Him.

Well, in the Gospel... Jesus said The Law and Prophets remain and that the scripture cannot be broken. He also said, that heaven and earth would pass away, but His Words will never pass away.... :)
So... that then can only mean one thing, that the Law and the Prophets therefore must still be both in existence as well as remaining relevant. You may not at this present time accept the OT as being scripture, but, Jesus often quoted from it and so did the apostles. He even said to the people, that when (even) the Pharisees sit in Moses Law seat and read from the Torah scrolls, to listen to them and do whatsoever they tell you (of God's Law). But the rest of the time, when they are not reading from the Torah scrolls (only) - Don't listen to them, because they are hypocrites, they say, but do not do.

So...this doesn't leave any other option than to accept it. Not a logical or rational one, in any case. And then, as if that was not enough... next comes the Qur'an/Koran and guess what, it says multiple times throughout it that it confirms the Gospel and Torah as true and that both the Gospel and the Torah are from God and true and then even makes this statement: not to be in doubt of it (Sura 32:23). That leaves NO room. The Gospel and Torah are true, do not doubt it AND do not doubt that it will reach you (the reader) so the Holy Quran promises the reader that the true bible (Gospel and Torah) will still exist and that it will reach them and NOT TO DOUBT IT!

Yet, the muslims choose to not believe this, but to believe the hadiths instead (which they even know and admit is not scripture, but they still choose to believe it rather than the Qur'an) and the imams who tell them to ignore what God (in the Quran) is telling them about the bible, and to just go ahead and doubt it anyway, even though the Qur'an says don't.

Doesn't make sense, but, things rarely seem to make sense in this lunatic-asylum of a world.

There have been times in the past, when I too had difficulty with it (Torah) because of not understanding. Some of it is not easy, not at first anyway. But eventually, that changes and now, I've come to see things very differently. Now I see the beauty and the wisdom of the Torah (The Law) and how the moral Law remains completely perfect and unchanged (because morality does not change - right and wrong will always be right and wrong). I believe, if someone truly studies the Gospel and believes it, then they will in time have to come to study the Torah and believe it too. Because, Jesus didn't leave any room not to do it, if you are truly going to believe Him.
Peace, bible student
The amalgam of gods in the Old Testament is undeniable. The lack of understanding should be looked for somewhere else. El and YHWH are clearly two distinct deities at odds with one another, yet people erroneously continue to see them as one. The Torah is the product of semitic syncretism and has become extremely convoluted. It's safer not to trust any of it than all of it.

Jesus' references to the law and prophets have no real bearing on the Old Testament. Jesus' mission was to convert the Jew, because the Jew is the archetype, at least since the beginning of the Christian era, who rejects Christ. It's they who rejected the prophets. It's they who were the hypocrites, believing their ethnicity was the justification of their chosenness. The presence in the OT of some of the laws and some of the prophets does not mean one has to adhere to the book of the Jew who rejected Christ. One doesn't adhere to Marx and Das Kapital while being a convinced capitalist either.

It is a fact that Sunday is a pagan day of worship and has been for thousands of years in many pagan circles around the world. Constantine who thought to change God's law and change the Sabbath day from the seventh to the first day of the week came from such a pagan religion.

Its a fact that the Emperor Constantine changed the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday and ever since then most of Christendom follow the false Sabbath because God never did and never will change the Sabbath day.

It is a fact that God created the earth and all that is in them.

It is a fact that God created the days of the week and time. And He warns us of a power that will think to change the days of worship.

"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time." Daniel 7:25.

It is a fact that Jesus and the apostles kept the true Sabbath as given by God at creation. Jesus is the one who created this world and gave us the Sabbath.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made." John1:1-3, 14.

So I will continue to observe the true Sabbath of the Bible.

Jesus is God. He is the one that chose the prophets. He is the one who through the Holy Spirit inspired the people who wrote the Old Testament. He quotes the Old Testament because its His Word and always will be for eternity. "I know that whatever God does,
It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him."
Ecclesiastes 3:14.

Jesus came to convert the whole world including the Jew. When the Jews rejected Him as a people, the apostles took the gospel to many other parts of the world because as Paul puts it there is neither Jew nor Greek. Jews were no longer a chosen people but they could come to Christ individually like the rest of the world. Many Jews accepted Christ including the apostles.

The Bible would be half empty without the Old Testament. We need both books to understand God. The Old Testament has prophecies about the end time especially the book of Daniel. We have to understand the book of Daniel to understand the book of Revelation. Also in the Old Testament the Jews are God's chosen people but because of their disobedience many of God's promises were never fulfilled. We are told in the New Testament that those promises will be fulfilled in spiritual Israel which is those who are true Christians. God gave us those two testaments for our growth spiritually.

The Old Testament is not the book of the Jew. It is a book for all of us. Many Christians think the Sabbath is Jewish. It is not. It was instituted during creation. Adam and Eve were not Jewish. The first Jew in the Bible is Abraham. And Jesus makes it clear that Sabbath was made for man. "And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.” " The Sabbath was not created exclusively for Jews, but for man. God had the whole human race in mind when He created the Sabbath day.

Denominational Testimony
Summary: Members of many Protestant denominations recognize that choosing Sunday as the day of rest is unBiblical.

Members of many Protestant denominations recognize that Sunday is not the day of rest found in Scripture.

Anglican

Isaac Williams, Plain Sermons on the Catechism Volume 1: 334, 336:
"And where are we told in the Scriptures that we are to keep the first day at all? We are commanded to keep the seventh, but we are nowhere commanded to keep the first day...The reasons why we keep the first day of the week holy instead of the seventh is for the same reason that we observe many other things, not because the Bible, but because the [Catholic) church has enjoined [ordered) it."

Rev. Lionel Beere, Church and People (September 1, 1947):
"Many people think that Sunday is the Sabbath, but neither in the New Testament nor in the early church, is there anything to suggest that we have any right to transfer the observance of the seventh day of the week to the first. The Sabbath was and is Saturday and not Sunday."

Baptist

Dr. Edward T. Hiscox, sermon at Baptist Ministers' Convention (Saratoga, NY. August 20, 1893), as quoted in Charlene R. Fortsch, Daniel: Understanding the Dreams and Visions (British Columbia: Prophecy Song, 2006): 363:
"There was and is a commandment to keep holy the Sabbath day, but the Sabbath day was not Sunday. It will, however, be readily said, and with some show of triumph, that the Sabbath was transferred from the seventh to the first day of the week, with all its duties, privileges and sanctions...Where can the record of such a transaction be found? Not in the New Testament—absolutely not. There is no scriptural evidence of the change of the Sabbath institution from the seventh to the first day of the week...What a pity that it [Sunday] comes branded with the mark of paganism and christened with the name of the sun-god, then adopted and sanctified by the papal apostasy and bequeathed as a sacred legacy to Protestantism."

Congregationalist

Robert William Dale, The Ten Commandments (London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1884): 100-101:
"It is quite clear that however rigidly or devoutly we spend Sunday, we are not keeping the Sabbath... The Sabbath was founded on a specific Divine Command. We can plead no such command for the obligation to observe Sunday ...There is not a single sentence in the New Testament to suggest that we incur any penalty by violating the supposed sanctity of Sunday."

Dr. Lymen Abbot, Christian Union June 26, 1890):
"The current notion that Christ and His apostles authoritatively substituted the first day for the seventh is absolutely without any authority in the New Testament."

Disciples of Christ

Dr. D. H. Lucas, Christian Oracle (January 23, 1890):
"There's no direct Scriptural authority for designating the first day "the Lord's Day." "

Episcopalian

Bishop Seymour as quoted in Kevin Morgan, Sabbath Rest (TEACH Services, 2002): 13:
"We have made the change from the seventh day to the first day, from Saturday to Sunday, on the authority of the one holy catholic apostolic church."

Manual of Christian Doctrine: 127:
"Is there any command in the New Testament to change the day of weekly rest from Saturday to Sunday? None."

Lutheran

Augustus Neander and Henry John Rose, The History of the Christian Religion and Church (New York: Stanford and Swords, 1848): 186:
"The festival of Sunday, like all other festivals, was always only a human ordinance, and it was far from the intentions of the apostles to establish a Divine command in this respect, far from them, and from the early apostolic Church, to transfer the laws of the Sabbath to Sunday."

The Sunday Problem (1923): 36, as quoted in Kevin Morgan, Sabbath Rest (TEACH Services, 2002): 45:
"We have seen how gradually the impression of the Jewish [not exclusively Jewish, but given to all God's people] Sabbath faded from the mind of the Christian Church, and how completely the newer thought underlying observance of the first day took possession of the church. We have seen that the Christians of the first 3 centuries never confused one with the other."

Methodist

Amos Binney, The Methodist Book Concern (New York, 1902):
"It is true there is no positive command for infant baptism. Nor is there any for keeping holy the first day of the week. Many believe that Christ changed the Sabbath. But, from His own words, we see that He came for no such purpose."

Harris F. Rall, Christian Advocate (July 2, 1942): 26:
"Take the matter of Sunday...there is no passage telling Christians to keep that day, or to transfer the Jewish Sabbath to that day."

Presbyterian

Canon Eyton, The Ten Commandments: 63, 65:
"Into the rest of Sunday, no Divine Law enters ... The observance of Ash Wednesday, or Lent, stands exactly on the same footing as the observance of Sunday."

Nathan L Rice et al., The Christian Sabbath (New York: Robert Carter & Brothers, 1863): 60.
"A change of the day to be observed, from the last day of the week to the first. There is no record, no express command, authorizing this change."

Southern Baptist

Joseph J. Taylor, The Sabbath Question (F.H. Revell Co., 1914): 14-17, 41:

"The sacred name of the seventh day is Sabbath. This fact is too clear to require argument...Not once did the disciples apply the Sabbath law to the first day or the week—that folly was left for later ages, nor did they pretend that the first day supplanted the seventh."

I don't believe that. It is a similar claim to the supposed muslim imams, who like to claim that the Bible has been corrupted, when there is no such statement made ever in the Holy Qur'an/Koran, which in fact says the opposite.

Extract from: "The Way home or face The Fire - By JAH" (The Mother of The Book)

"11:91 The Meccans, in order to keep the deception going, had to discredit the Bible, to stop people
from reading it, so that they would never find the truth, and turn away from Mecca, back to
Jerusalem, as God intended. The Meccans, in writing the Hadith and discrediting the Bible, have
made it IMPOSSIBLE, for anyone reading the Hadith, to be able to understand the Koran, and
God’s TRUTH. They’ve told the Moslem world that the true Bible no longer exists, which is not
only a LIE (evil - from the Devil), but totally illogical too. They would have the world believe their
lie, that God; Whom they claim to worship; Who is ALL-powerful; has commanded them to read
the Bible (Sura 6:152-157); fulfill His COVENANT (Sura 6:152 &16:91), which is written ONLY
in the Bible and nowhere else, and, even though He is ALL-powerful; has left the world without
the TRUE Bible. They’d have us believe their lie, that an ALL-powerful God, has broken His word,
and allowed puny man to destroy His Bible Truth*. How stupid can people be?

*God guaranteed in the Koran (Sura 32:23), that the True Bible would reach you, and He
commanded the reader, NOT to be in doubt about it.

Sura 32:23. We did indeed aforetime give the Book (Torah) to Moses: be then NOT IN DOUBT of
its (The Torah) reaching (THEE)
: and We made it a Guide to the Children of Israel.

11:92 The king James Authorized Version of the Bible is the second most accurate translation in the
world, since 2000 A.D. when The King of kings’ Bible was completed, and which is now the most
accurate." - The Way home or face The Fire

Returning to keeping the Sabbath (on Saturday) is a very good step forwards that anyone can take towards returning back to God's Law.

Gospel of Thomas
5:6 Jesus said: If you fast not from the world, you will not find the Kingdom; if you keep not the Sabbath as Sabbath, you will not see the Father.

This is most likely poorly translated and not considering the spiritual dimension of what this logion says. "Sabbath as a Sabbath" in the literal sense is a superfluous statement, because Jesus could have simply said "if you keep not the Sabbath, you will not see the Father". The "as a Sabbath" becomes redundant. But if you interpret it in accordance with what precedes it, namely "Fast from the World", it becomes something more.

Gerd Ludemann writes: "A literal understanding, namely sabbath observance, is to be excluded. Rather, 'sabbath' here may be synonymous with 'world'. In that case v. 2 symbolizes abstinence from worldly values. For 'seeing the Father' cf. Matt. 5.8 ('see God')." (Jesus After 2000 Years, p. 604)
Joseph A. Fitzmyer ... it is likely that we should understand the expression in this saying in a metaphorical or a spiritual sense. Cf. Heb 4:9 and Justin (Dial. w. Trypho 12, 3; PG 6, 500), who uses sabbatizein in the sense of a spiritual sabbath opposed to the formal Jewish observance; for him it consisted in abstention from sin." Always an excuse or trying to find some way around it..

Keeping the Sabbath as Sabbath means exactly that. We are supposed to be using the Sabbath Day (the Seventh day - Saturday - The Sabbath) for being able to rest and to study God's Word, especially His Law (Torah).

Gospel of Thomas
4:1 Jesus said: If you become disciples to Me and hear My words, these stones will minister to you. For you have five trees in Paradise which are unmoved in Summer or in Winter, and their leaves do not fall (the Torah).
4:2 Whoever KNOWS them will not taste death.

If you think anything in Logion 19 of the Gospel of Thomas has anything to do with the Torah, then you're really stretching it.

First thing you do is equate the word of Jesus with the word of the god of the Torah. This alone renders you incapable of understanding what's being said. Firstly, none of the gods in the Torah is the Father revealed in Christ for no one had seen the Father in Heaven but the Son who was sent by Him. The Word of the Father in Heaven is thus revealed in the Gospel.

Secondly, to insinuate the Torah's reference in that logion is proof of a predisposition towards that which you've been made to believe, not a sign of intellectual independence.

"The stones that will serve you" refer to the words of Christ or the Logos. The Logos is that which orders the universe and the universe is ordered through God's mind. We also have to order our minds, "align or sync it with God's" and the Word taken flesh has come to show us. These words will serve us in bringing order to ourselves (the stones will serve to build our inner temple).

Further evidence that we're talking about the Mind is in the Five Trees mentioned. They are Thought, Sentiment, Reflection, Intellect and Reason (see Pistis Sophia), incorruptible and imperishable in Summer and Winter (Heaven and Earth) described in the metaphore of the leaves that won't fall.

Nothing here has a smidge to do with the Torah.

Firstly, none of the gods in the Torah is the Father revealed in Christ for no one had seen the Father in Heaven but the Son who was sent by Him. The Word of the Father in Heaven is thus revealed in the Gospel.
It was The Son (Archangel Michael) Who was also sent previously, by the Father, and Who delivered the Torah (The Law) unto Moses.

Exodus
3:2 And the angel of the "I AM" appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush [was] not consumed.
3:3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
3:4 And when the "I AM" saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here [am] I.
3:5 And He said, Draw not near here: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest [is] holy ground.

John
1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only incarnated Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [Him].

5:37 And the Father Himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His shape.

5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.
5:47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

Acts
7:53 Who have received The Law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept [it].

1 Corinthians
10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the "Cloud", and all passed through the sea;
10:2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the "Cloud" and in the sea;
10:3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that went with them: and that Rock was Christ.
10:5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
Secondly, to insinuate the Torah's reference in that logion is proof of a predisposition towards that which you've been made to believe, not a sign of intellectual independence.
As above. Christ is The Lawgiver.
Matthew
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no way pass from The Law, till all be fulfilled.
5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least COMMANDments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of heaven.

24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
It is The Law (and spiritual understanding of it - with your spiritual mind/being) that renews your mind, bringing you back to the Beginning (and the Truth) again.

Thomas
3:4 The disciples said to Jesus: Tell us how our end will be.
3:5 Jesus said: Have you then discovered the beginning so that you inquire about the end? For where the beginning is, there shall be the end (Alpha & Omega). Blessed is he who shall stand at the beginning, and he shall know the end and he shall not taste death.
Nothing here has a smidge to do with the Torah.
I disagree. It has everything to do with it and with going back to it and the true meaning of it (going back to Eden - back to "the Beginning" again.. through following Christ).

Leviticus 19:18 "...thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself..."

1 John 1:1 That which was from the Beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of Life;

2:7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old Commandment which ye had from the Beginning. The old Commandment is the Word which ye have heard from the Beginning.

All Scripture quoted from the King of kings' bible.

Again, these are all faith statements and you continue with the Sunday Sabbath straw man while I never made such claim.
Emperor Constantine changed the observance of the seventh day of the week to the first. This is a historical fact. After that the popes carried on enforcing the observance of the first day instead of the seventh.

Also its true that pagans observed/observe Sunday as their day of worship.

As for the Bible and the Sabbath, only those who don't believe the clear Word of God call what I've posted here as "faith statements". I've provided proof from the Bible about the Sabbath.

Peter said in the book of Acts 5:9, "But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men."
My sentiments exactly.

Is Going to Church Necessary on the Sabbath?

Q. The Sabbath command speaks of rest but not worship. Is it necessary to go to church on that day?

A. It’s true that when God first instituted the Sabbath in Eden, He made no mention of going to church on that day; He just set it aside for a holy purpose, which He would expand upon at a later time. (See Genesis 2:1–3.) And in Exodus, He did indeed give us more details about the specifics of that holy day in the Ten Commandments. Still, the Ten Commandments give no instruction that we are to gather together for worship on that day. It just gives guidelines on what it means to keep it holy. (See Exodus 20:8–11.)

But as we continue to move forward in Scripture, we come across an interesting verse in Leviticus: “Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings” (Leviticus 23:3). The word “convocation” is from the Hebrew word miqrâ' (????), which means a public meeting, assembly, or gathering. Here God is giving even more details about the Sabbath: In this case, it’s also to be a time for holy assemblies (i.e., worship services).

Moreover, in Isaiah, we read, “It shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD” (Isaiah 66:23). This is speaking of worship in eternity, but God specifically mentions the Sabbath and coming together for worship in this passage.

The main reason, though, that we associate the Sabbath with assembling for worship is the example of Jesus. Here are some scripture references that highlight this:

  • “They went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught”?(Mark 1:21).
  • “And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?” (Mark 6:2).

  • “He came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read” (Luke 4:16).

  • “It came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered”?(Luke 6:6).
Over and over again, we see Jesus in the synagogue on the Sabbath. We’re even told that it was His custom to be there on that day. The disciples also followed in the example of Jesus, as we can see clearly in the book of Acts:
  • “When they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down”?(Acts 13:14).
  • “When the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath”?(Acts 13:42).
  • “He reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks”?(Acts 18:4).

It’s well-known that when the Jews went into the synagogue, it was for the purpose of worship. These scriptures are referring to those church services, where people gathered together on the Sabbath day.

Now let’s look at this issue from a common-sense point of view. God says that we are to keep the Sabbath holy. That means no work, i.e., ceasing from secular labour, according to Exodus 20:8–11. That leaves us with a free day! What better way to spend the Sabbath than to gather together with like-minded believers and worship God together? Worship itself is an act of love in its true sense. What a privilege to worship our Lord, on His holy day, surrounded by His people—that’s a triple blessing for us! Also, no man is an island. We gather strength from one another. That’s why God told us the following in Hebrews 10:24, 25: “Let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

If you’re looking for that “gotcha” verse that says specifically, in so many words, “Go to church on Sabbath or else,”—well, you won’t find it. However, God has given us the example of His Son, and many verses besides, to lead us to a clear conclusion in this matter.

For the fourth time: I never mentioned anything about Sunday or Constantine. The Babylonian sabattu precedes the Hebrew shabbat by centuries. It was dedicated to the same deity, had the same type of prohibitions and it's in the same mythological family. That both versions of the "mid-rest day" are related seems alot more rational to assume than to believe sixth century BC scripture overrides all other archeological and historical evidence that predates it.

Exodus 31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily My Sabbaths ye shall keep: for it [is] a "Sign" between Me and you throughout your generations; that [ye] may know that I [am] the "I AM" that doth sanctify you.

Isaiah 56:2 Blessed [is] the man [that] doeth this, and the son of man [that] layeth hold on it; that keepeth the Sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

Ezekiel 20:12 Moreover also I gave them My Sabbaths, to be a "Sign" between Me and them, that they might know that I [am] the "I AM" that sanctify them.

Acts 16:13 And on the Sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spoke unto the women which resorted [there].

Acts 17:2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three Sabbath days reasoned with them out of the Scriptures,

Christ Fulfills the Law

" “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:17-20.

Can somebody be truly saved if they don't keep the Ten Commandments?
The answer is yes. Of course, there are going to be many people saved, and no one is saved by keeping any law. We are saved by grace alone.

However, at the same time, nobody will be saved who willingly disobeys. The Bible says, "For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins" Hebrew 10:26. So at that point it is open rebellion against God. And how can God accept that into heaven?

I know you did not mention Sunday or Constatine. I did. Can I not mention them? They are connected to why the day was changed from Saturday to sunday.

First of all there is not such thing as a Hebrew Sabbath. God gave the Sabbath at creation to mankind. Adam and Eve were not Jewish. The first Jew we read about in the Bible is Abraham and Sabbath had been observed for a long time before Abraham. The Jews just continued to observe the Sabbath God gave at creation. We are all supposed to continue to observe the Sabbath that God gave us all as a day or rest and worship.

Babylonian paganism and all the other kinds of paganism began after creation. The Sabbath predates the Babylonian fake sabbath. So you are wrong.
