The first thing He answered was I Am. You can go with what you want but I’ll accept His answer as being His Name.If YHWH isn’t 3rd person if I AM, what is?
I AM was not the only thing God said in response to what His name was, and what to tell the Israelites:
And names don’t translate. If my name is Joe in English, I don’t go to Mexico and start telling them my name is Jose. No matter what language I’m around, my name is my name. Same with the Creator. In short, you don’t have to translate His Name to third person because He didn’t tell you to. And Yahweh doesn’t mean anything in Hebrew while Yehovah contains the word “mischief/disaster” which I don’t believe He’d associate His Name with
2 things:Moses and the Prophets do not agree with you at all on this. They clearly understood to refer to God as YHWH, and not I AM. Nobody ever calls God “I AM” anywhere in the Tanach, before or after, nor does God ever use that phrase before or after he responds to Moses. Nobody ever named their children based on I AM, their names were based on YHWH, for example:
1. You’re telling me about what man did and said instead of telling me what the Creator said His Name to be.
2.
Jeremiah 8:8
How can you say, "We are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?
There’s a reason god/lord replaced the Name.
God saying it Himself wasn’t good enough? Can you show where anybody ever refers to God as “I AM”, or gives their children names based on “I AM”? An example before or after God telling Moses “I AM” would be sufficient.
YHWH isn’t a name though. You can’t look at those 4 letters and know the correct pronunciation..The suspicion of you pushing Freemason doctrine is based on you denying the name of YHWH, not on you “stressing the use of God’s name”.
