They really doll up the streets for Eid but I could not find a good video for that.
Really like documentaries:p

I saw these yesterday: Pineapple shaped Buildings however people who work there would have their view obstructed by triangle shapes across their windows.

Hmmmm, yummy! Their plates look like mine when I went to a Turkish restaurant when I used to work uptown. The plate was so big and food was so scrumptious!

As for favourite things, I remember these from my childhood. They had such a unique and memorable taste. My mum used to make these for me and my siblings, and I want to make them this summer to relive a bit of my childhood :).

DIY Kool-Aid JELL-O Popsicles

INGREDIENTS:
1 (3 oz) package Jell-O
1 packet of Kool-Aid
½ cup sugar
2 cup boiling water
2 cup cold water

DIRECTIONS:

Combine Jell-O, Kool-Aid, sugar and boiling water together in bowl or pitcher and mix well
Then add cold water
Pour into popsicle molds, paper or plastic cups
Set popsicle stick in – to keep popsicle stick straight, use tin foil across top
Freeze for 4 – 6 hours or until solid

YIELDS: 6 popsicles

That is one of the great things about living in Toronto you have all the ethnic restaurants including the restaurants of specific regions in countries. Vancouver has that but mainly for Asian and South Asian groups, European and Persian as well.:D
Merci for dropping in O'M

I keep a prayer journal where I write all my prayers and thoughts. I try to write in it every week and document what I'm thankful for and what I hope to achieve with my small family.
@mecca , I started doing that recently, Alhamdulillah.

It is interesting for me to always analyze the spice mixes of different cuisines.
Here is a serene cooking channel with zero talk only the sounds of the cooking and nature..
This person has taken cooking and made it some kind of holistic art form with fresh produce from his garden to the cooking utensils.
Chef Ramsey dropped in on him but they are both quiet.:)

Here is a lantern for you to look at:)

Ooh, that’s pretty!

Yes, I especially love the hanging ones, with colored glass. They look like smashed lollipops with bits of light shining through them:
