I think it was cancelled because it raised awkward questions about how Muslims could have saved Jews from a Holocaust that wasn't supposed to have happened.

London Mosque Cancels Holocaust Exhibition After Muslim Protest
The Centre for Islamic Understanding in Golders Green reportedly abandoned plan to honor Muslims who saved Jews during the Holocaust after some protesters marked the event’s links with Yad Vashem
Following protests by Muslims, a mosque in London dropped plans to host an exhibition on Muslims who saved Jews during the Holocaust.
The Centre for Islamic Understanding in Golders Green, which did not say why it cancelled the event, was due to hold the exhibition about Muslim Albanians who rescued Jews on Sunday.
It abandoned the plan after some Muslims protested the planned event’s links with Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust museum, the Jewish News of London reported Friday.
Calls for a boycott were spearheaded by Roshan Salih, editor of the British Muslim news site 5 Pillars.
“Commemorations must never be done in conjunction with Israeli oppressors or their supporters,” he said. In response to the cancellation, he wrote that the mosque “is to be commended for responding to community concerns.”
Jews who helped community leaders at the mosque set up the exhibition had said prior to the cancellation that they saw the event as a significant moment in Jewish-Muslim relations in Golders Green, which is one of the United Kingdom’s most-heavily Jewish areas.
It’s “incredibly important to remember that Jewish and Muslim communities have always historically supported each other and will always continue to do so,” Rabbi Natan Levy, head of operations at the Faith Forums for London, which helped organized the cancelled event, told the Jewish News.
“By spending more time together and seeking to understand our commonalities and appreciate our differences we can provide a united front against hatred,” he added.

"The name Adolf Hitler evokes a feeling of repulsion and fear and people think of a mind of evil and violence. All of our lives we’ve been told this story and it is so deeply embedded into our soul that it is part of our world view. People reject all things Nazi without looking at what they accomplished. For some reason, in recent years there has been a shift and some people are having an awakening. We are told so may lies from the media and politicians that many are going online to seek answers. They’re thinking for themselves. The kind of people who reject the official story about 9/11 discover that the mainstream media is one big lie after another and they wonder what else they have been lied to about. Digging deeper and going back further to World War II explodes one of the biggest lies in our history."

"The reason why we’re told that Hitler was one of the most evil people in history is precisely because he was one of the greatest leaders of all time. Looking beyond how he raised up his people with new hope and new life we discover the breathtaking and mysterious inner qualities of the man himself. Adolf Hitler was actually a spiritual being and leader manifesting in the form of the German chancellor and Fuehrer. This is what he is to the Thule Society, then and now. He was not a normal man. John F. Kennedy said that Hitler had the stuff of which legends were made. This is a hero worship cult."

"Because of most people’s programming, no matter how much evidence they are shown to the contrary they turn away, and they will not change their bias against Hitler. The Thule Society is only for the very few who face this great truth and embrace it."

I didn’t know the Thule Society still existed.

The great leader part always makes me chuckle, seeing how it ended in a bunker a few days after another “great leader” had his end at the Piazalle Loreto lol

A pretty sad story all around. One thing I have learned, its rare for an event like his to actually happen, let alone without a bunch of problems. No matter what at least one side wont be satisfied, one side will refuse to participate, one side will call for a boycott etc. etc. etc. This one aint on the Christians as far as I can tell.......

They want to push Holocaust propaganda on the moon. I wouldn't be surprised if they put Holocaust propaganda on the back of kid's cereal boxes. The Muslims were in the right. The mosque is to serve the Muslim community.

Muslims must follow the Quran and the Sunnah. There is no reason from the Quran or the Sunnah that I'm aware of that shows any reason why our mosques should be used for more Holocaust stuff. Honestly, it would be "cuck" behavior. The Quran does say be witnesses for justice. If we're going to talk about the Holocaust in the mosque, though- I think there's like a hundred other injustices that should be discussed first. We already had a whole semester dedicated to the Holocaust when I was in school. Meanwhile, I have only the vaguest idea of what happened in Rwanda and Cambodia. Do you know what happened in Rwanda and Cambodia? Where are the space craft to take Rwandan and Cambodian stories to the moon? We had a whole semester on the Holocaust and the Rwandans didn't get a single sentence. What about the genocide in Somalia? Do people even know about the genocide that happened in Somalia? What about the suffering in Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, etc.

If I'm starving and your brother (by blood) is starving- who do you give food to first? Islamically, you should give food to your family member first.

The Muslims were in the right.

Which Muslims? The event was staged by Muslims, and protested by Muslims.

That sounds like something worthwhile to honor, I don't know why anyone would want to protest this.
They protested it because it's connected with Jews.

Jews and Muslims were coming together to celebrate and remember Muslims who helped, protected and rescued their Jewish neighbours when they were being hunted and murdered. Only a hateful asshole would protest that.

The holocaust did happen and the mosque organizers should have had a Naqba exhibition right next to the holocaust exhibition.
People could then ask why a people who have gone through an atrocity could visit it upon others.
So you're equating the extermination of six million Jews with the displacement of a half million Palestinians as the result of a war that Arabs started when they attacked Israel?

How about, next to the Nakba exhibit, there's one commemorating the million Jews that were stripped of their rights and property and then thrown out of the Arab countries they had been living in?

I did not equate anything take it at face value. Why would they oppress others when they have been oppressed themselves?
I firmly believe that in some cases oppression is worst than slaughter.

Good to see Iranian Jews critical about the Israeli state and Netanyahu.
Despite tension between Iran and Israel, Iran’s Jewish minority feels at home

I find it laughable to say that there is some kind of Apartheid there when 21% of the population are Arabs of Israeli citizenship. Also those in East Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights were offered citizenship after the 6-Day War but they simply refused.

Only in the fevered, ignorant mind of a committed Jew-hater would resistance to constant terrorist attacks be seen as oppression. But since you're so concerned with the oppressed, does that mean you support Jewish efforts to recover the property that was stolen from them by Arabs in the 1940's and '50's? I doubt it, but I'm interested in hearing how you justify your hypocrisy.

Also, the Jewish community in Iran is one of the most oppressed in the world, and propaganda like you and others post that seems to suggest they love it there is pure, coerced lies. The first thing the Iranian Islamics did when they took power in the revolution was publicly execute the leader of Iranian Jews. That kind of set the tone, and it's no wonder when we see videos of tense Jews telling us how great everything is there. It's like a hostage video. Speaking of hostages, Jews in Iran aren't allowed to leave unless there is a sufficient number of their family remaining in Iran to ensure their return, and they can't take money out with them. Under Islamic law in Iran, Jews who convert to Islam automatically inherit all the family wealth. Intermarriage between Jews and non-Jews in punishable by death. With those kind of restrictions and threats, how can you take anything positive they say about Iran, or any negative they say about Israel, very seriously?

Slowly but surely the truth is coming out........
As Jews, we reject the myth that it's antisemitic to call Israel racist

In such urgent times, it is more important than ever to distinguish between legitimate critiques of unjust Israeli policies and ‘hostility to Jews as Jews’
Excerpts:
"A worldwide coalition of Jewish groups has issued a joint statement condemning attempts to stifle criticism of Israel with false accusations of antisemitism."

"The statement, which 40 Jewish groups from 15 different countries have signed, could not have been more timely. In the UK, the Labour Party is currently under pressure to adopt the full guidelines accompanying a definition of antisemitism from the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA)."

"But genuine anti-racist principles surely lead us to criticise Israel for its many discriminatory policies, whether its segregated road network, its dual justice system, or the “Jewish nation state” bill passed on Wednesday, which entrenches ethnic inequality in law.
"Perversely labelling critics of this racism “antisemitic” also silences Palestinians who object to Israel’s historic and ongoing takeover of their land."
