A letter to Christians from an ex-Satanist

A little while back, a Satanist went online to troll a Christian message and ended up getting born again. He wrote a message to the church he had been targeting explaining the strategies they use against Christians.

It was interesting as I listened how hope unity and maturity were some of the key things to attack. We are in a battle whether we like it or not...

*Another thing this illustrates... If YOU think you have gone too far and too deep into evil for Jesus to forgive you, think again!

Wow regarding that about Dracula. Was Bram Stoker influenced by demons? Yes.

I remember a guy in college telling me that movie made him feel closer to God. I almost cussed him out. That movie was filthy and awful and, at the end, the director portrayed Dracula as some kind of Christ-like figure who only loved Winona Ryder's character although he slept with a bunch of women. Seriously, I wanted to hit that guy for talking me into watching that movie with him.

That explains a lot.

I remember watching that film after becoming a Christian and felt a very unpleasant feeling in my spirit.

But back to the original matter at hand, I saw the fact that God never gives up on people when I saw Dr. Faustus performed onstage while I was in grad school. I was hesitant to see that play since I knew it was about a man who sold his soul to the devil. Don't know why I was hesitant. Did I fear I would do the same? Maybe I did. Anyway, I went and what I noticed was God's grace toward Dr. Faustus and how the demons lied to him and told him he couldn't repent. He could indeed repent.

The voice of the enemy, of the devil, is one of a bully. God doesn't bully, but speaks in a still small voice. He can be rather direct at times with me because I can be a bit hardheaded, but He doesn't bully me.

Also, if you're interested, check out John Ramirez who was into santeria, witchcraft, and satanism and came to Jesus.

What I found particularly interesting in the letter was the way Satanists would want to encourage Christians to argue over secondary issues rather than share the Gospel.

In the grand scheme of things, what do these issues amount to? My opinion over yours? The fields are white...

More information from the writer of the letter - we are in a war and the enemy plays dirty, so wear your armour!

That is so touching! I'm a bit surprised he didn't need more deliverance, yet it's a miracle he turned to Yeshua/Jesus and that in and of itself is deliverance. Hope he's being discipled, too.

Praise Jesus the Son of God

On what basis exactly do you consider yourself to be "a Christian"?

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised (Heb. 10:23)

Blessed be the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God
Because I put my faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10

Ooooh, John Ramirez! Now THAT'S the good stuff! Seen all his videos, he has some things to say. The dark side means business which is also why one is attacked even in sleep while most christians arent even actice once a week. Something to think about.. Ramirez knows his sh*t

No offense I have had this debate with King James only people in the past. If I was to be honest the whole King James only movement is very weird and cult like to me. I have read the King James along with other translations, and I don't have the time or patience to debate with you or anyone else on this matter.

These are the basics of salvation and salvation obviously leads to a changed life.
  1. Sola Scriptura (“Scripture alone”): The Bible alone is our highest authority.
  2. Sola Fide (“faith alone”): We are saved through faith alone in Jesus Christ.
  3. Sola Gratia (“grace alone”): We are saved by the grace of God alone.
  4. Solus Christus (“Christ alone”): Jesus Christ alone is our Lord, Savior, and King.
  5. Soli Deo Gloria (“to the glory of God alone”): We live for the glory of God alone.
