We have been homeschooling our kids for nearly 20 years. When I started, I had a lot of push-back from family, friends, church members; and there weren’t a lot of us. Now, many people are supportive, and MANY people are doing it. I could throw a stick and hit a homeschool family where I live. This kind of thing aimed at children causes more people to pull their kids. Truth is getting harder to find and people care a lot when their kids are being lied to. My adults come home and tell me the garbage they tell them at the local university, and they are blown away by how many are buying it.

This one tops much of what I’ve heard though. Reality seems to smack this one in the face.
I applaud thee! <3

We are homeschooling our son, and when we first told people we were going to do that, everyone (except our friends who homeschool) had a bunch of reasons why we were crazy. Now they can't believe what their kids are being taught.

That article is written with an intentionally misleading and provocative title to spark division and outrage... and you guys are falling for it. The only reason they worded the title in that way is to get people talking about and clicking on their page so they can make a lot of money.

If you simply step back and understand the situation, it actually becomes very simple. It's not saying everyone bleeds... that just isn't true and would be absurd. What's it's saying is that transgender boys can experience periods. That's an easily understandable concept... and that's all it's saying. It is useful and necessary to address this fact... trans boys exist and they may experience periods. This is a very simple and straightforward thing and it's just an aspect of reality that people should be aware of, especially regarding sex ed.

In no way does it mean that schools are teaching that "boys can have periods" or everyone can experience periods, that is alarmist and unfounded... it is only specific to transgender boys. It's simply true that periods are something that trans boys can experience and they will need support regarding that... there's nothing wrong with addressing it or being aware of it. All people should feel comfortable enough to discuss and understand menstruation, especially when they are going through it themselves. They should be able to have access to the information they may need and shouldn't be overlooked in their sexual education.

Biological males simply cannot have periods... if blood is coming out of your penis, you should go to the hospital. When discussing medical topics related to physical sex, it is necessary to address the difference between a trans man and a cisgender male. The article's title deliberately leaves this out to provoke you to click and give them profits. There's no need to be outraged about something that isn't an issue. No one is teaching the idea that every person, including males, can have periods... Only people with female sex organs (a functioning uterus) can have periods, this is a basic fact that is not being refuted by anyone and cannot be refuted.

You keep using the term "boys".........
Children do not have the necessary life experience to make such a permanent decision. Therefore much of the actual fault lies with the medical professionals who would perform such an illegal, life altering procedure on a minor. If kids are not old enough to even get into PG-13 rated movies, what biz do they have mutilating their natural bodies via an irreversible, man-made procedure at such a young age?

I think we have discussed this before. You keep referring to a "life altering permanent decision" that you think these children are making but children are not legally allowed to undergo any permanent aspects of transitioning. Chidlren cannot get surgery... that causes permanent changes and children are still too young to make that decision. They do not undergo any sort of "procedure" at that age, it isn't legal to operate on a child in that way. You have a misconception that they are doing something permanent when they simply are not... The only aspects of transitioning that a child can do are non-permanent, they can change their name or pronouns or clothing, but they can't undergo a surgical procedure. The guidelines state that you have to be 18. We already had this conversation and I already pointed this out to you.

There are no medical professionals who are doing the surgery on children. I really don't know where you're getting that idea.

If you think about it... the actual context of this topic already disproves your idea since it is about trans boys getting periods. If they are having periods, they obviously haven't done anything to change their body... a trans boy is biologically female. I'll reiterate that it is literally illegal for a child to surgically transition, it's simply not happening. if someone did surgery on a child, they would lose their medical license, it's simply not allowed and it is unethical.

I know that you have floated this argument before. The last time you received multiple examples of physicians who implement aggressive, body-altering trans agenda's w/children well below the age of 18. Hormones and other "treatments" are being administered to pre-teens as well.

? These boys wouldn't be experiencing "periods" without the various medical procedures which change their natural body-state into an unnatural one which enables "male menstruation".... correct?

Why the fuck does anyone need to know that some "guy" sitting next to you is on his period? Who the fuck cares? Why is this being taught in school? Just why?

No... It's simply illegal to perform a permanent "procedure" on an underage child. Children are not allowed to transition permanently, they can only do non-permanent forms of transitioning which I listed in my previous comment.

That's actually incorrect. A trans boy is biologically female. I actually added that to my previous comment just in case you didn't know that, but I was too late so you didn't see it. The only way to experience a period is through having a functioning uterus...

Also, you're using a naturalistic fallacy, which doesn't prove or support anything.

When I was in elementary and middle school, they had one day where they went over sex ed and gave a brief overview of what puberty is. Around that age, children are starting puberty so they explain what it is and they help you to be "prepared". It's useful information that everyone should know. It's not personalized and you definitely don't learn about the personal information of the person sitting next to you. Do you not have sex ed? An informative sexual education is one of the best ways to prevent teen pregnancy, the spread of stds and other such things...

You can type "no" all you like, but this was proven via cited-sources last time around.

So which is it? Is it that these are "boys" (meaning children) whom have had procedures (which you are contending are illegal) to change their sexuality in defiance of the law? Or is it that this law specifically applies to people over 18 (adults) and therefore the information presented in the class would be an unnecessary introduction into a trans-agenda which does not apply to the children due to their age and the legality of the situation?

This is benefitting no one but creating more victims for bullying.
