I am willing to give my life for this. Our protest went fine and we will be out again, I hope this saturday. This time we will stand in the middle of down town, hopefully lure more people to us to join. Funny thing is one of the socialistic polititians walked by us...hehe. So we WERE both heard and seen.Sources?
If it would be that easy ... if it gets really rough, I mean if the people in charge are seriously threatened, then emergency rule comes into force and the military is on the streets. If people get killed, shit is on fire and people will stay at home. Only the real idealists will give their life for change. And maybe not even them. So it's not like "okay, let's go protesting and everything will be fine".
I'm not against you, I'm with you. But let's see this rational. No real revolution without blood. And if people are successful, what next or who's next?
And if the whole system/society is on pause mode, guess who will be the first starving? The rich? People in power? No. YOU will be the one going to the next supermarket, noting that all the food and water is gone because rioting mobs are around every corner. And there will be no supplies cause people aren't working. So it's anarchy, survival of the fittest or, alternatively, police/military state.
So, the rich, they will sit down and relax in front of their fireplace in their villa somewhere in a hidden place in the woods/mountains or a lonely island, watching everything on tv like a game show. Relaxed because they know they have food and water for 1-2 years in their basement, what do you got?
This is how I think about all this "revolution" "stuff". You wanna make a change, you have to BE the change. Become a politician. But honestly, I doubt people with ideals will ever participate seriously in this globalized, modern system.
And finally: power corrupts.
To me, the only way to make a change in the first place, again, is to go to your bank, draw all your money you put in "the system" and then let's see what happens. If all people in the world would do this on the same day, you have your revolution.
I can also tell that many there were more into this than me, they will gladly give their lives.
