Pretty good thread, but wondering why there is no mention of alcohol and cars + our archaic road systems.

The above are examples of stuff killing us right in front of our faces. And we don't even seek solutions for that.

The most dangerous thing the average person will do in their lives is sit behind the wheel.

I know, right? Sad to say, but I see a lot of people drugged out and from prescription drugs. It's sad. Almost want to do an intervention. A good friend's daughter has fried her brain on prescription drugs. I was not able to follow what the woman was saying about not being able to visit because she needed to change her socks and feed her cats. I was like "Just change your socks and feed your cats" and really felt like it was an excuse. It was weird. If someone has trouble doing simple daily tasks, that's a major problem.
I know a couple people whose brains are fried. My cousin is one; a little too much cannabis.

My wife's brother in law is another one.
At times he can be sharp, and there are other times, he's gone lol.

But I'm really under the assumption that rec and prescription drugs are the cause

Here in New Mexico, DWI is a major problem that's often trying to be marginalized for the better. Alcohol is but one of the many problems contributing to the mental breakdowns of society

Oh boy is it ever wake up time...

On topic, I've had great health success with Zeolite. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeolite). I've tried a variety of other products but this one appears to have worked by far the best. Zeolites help the body dispose of heavy metal pollutants.

As mentioned in original post we're being assailed on all health fronts. Supposedly, all the electronic radiation modern society is bathing in has its negative health effects amplified by the metals (presumably explaining why they're spraying them for us to inhale). If you have unusual adverse health effects I strongly recommend you consider a Zeolite detox.

There's a lot of great health information explaining how to survive the modern electro-jungle available online, as well. Dr Pompa is really good; here's a recommended video:

Ooooh, I'm so sorry! Cannabis is HORRIBLE! I've seen three people get psychosis from smoking that crap. One of them became permanently psychotic and has been on disability since 20 years for it.

I think in moderation cannabis is ok.
My cousin over does it. He definitely has the perma stoned look. He works and provides for his family, so that I do applaud. Mental wise however? He's gone lol. For thanksgiving he looked spaced out.

As for my wife's brother in law, some occasions he's very sharp, talkative and knowledgeable. There are some occasions though, like my cousin, his mind is in another plane of existence I guess

I'll bet. We are just straight up killing ourselves and I don't think it's a big mystery. I've figured that people must, in fact, be under some sort of mental blindness, or blockage if you will. Carl Jung used to talk about something similar in his books on depth psychology.

The Jungian theory on individuation states pretty clearly that cognitive development can be shut down. Where a person can get locked into a specific maturity level. So I imagine a lot of money and research was devoted to how that can be used as a weapon against us. I mean look around a little bit. The amount of 50+-year-olds out here punching downward is evidence that we are dealing with childlike maturity levels.

The only question for me is how many people are actually hard-wired into permanent high school mentalities. Because as of right now, I don't think that many people are hard-wired. I think most people are just matching moods and being ignorant.

Whoa! I think the same thing. People are stuck in a high school phase. And yes these are people well into their 50's.

Maybe it's more prevelent on social class and such too. Because my family beyond my son and my wife. I'm talking my dad's siblings(aunts, uncles) their children(cousins) etc. The thing is we all grew up low middle class. So growing up together, especially once we got into our late teens, parties always involved alcohol. To this day they all still party like they are in their teens.

Granted we all take responsibility with families of our own. There are families out there who take lives with that addiction. Being financially unstable, I think people look for that instant reward --- alcohol or rec drug

My brother is very reliant to drugs. A little cough, cold and slight fever he's very quick to take all this medication at least 4 tablets a day. I've been telling him to take a break from the habit since it's not reliable as they say. Tried urging him to drink herbal tea instead but keeps making excuses. It's saddening listening to him spend all this money to buy all this relievers. When I was younger our grandma only feeds us herbal remedies, got loads of medicinal plants on our yard. We weren't reliant to drugs at all but I think the biggest reason was that we couldn't afford it.

Lack of sleep. That's a big one. Sleep is very important. It's when we heal and are in homeostasis supposedly. Also, I do believe being ill in general is connected to your spiritual wellbeing. Like, when someone gets sick, maybe it's because they are being slowed down to reflect. Just my thoughts :)
