I watched a VERY insightful conversation between Amir Tsarfati (a Jew) and JD Farag (an Arab) filmed at the Golan heights and looking out over the Syrian border.

These are two of my favorites. I subscribe to JD via podcast and watch Amir on YouTube. I think I first learned of them through Olivetree Ministries.
Love to see the Bible unfold and I love Israel!
I know I've posted this before, but I love the music of Joshua Aaron, and this one, filmed in Jerusalem is one of my favourites!

P.s. God is on the move! The next incident that was recorded in 2012 was amazing...

Does it occur that Satan may hate the Jews and the God who made the promises to them? What greater pleasure than to turn the grafted in branches against the root.

It shouldn't be any more surprising to find that their symbolism has been corrupted and misappropriated in the same way the Freemasons like to have their Masonic KJV Bible.

Some day in future i may agree with you, not now not in this way. Returning is done by powers that be, pleasure to be sure . So many people died that they could return...

There is nothing to be corrupted, quote straight from KJV

Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

My point about the KJV is not that it is corrupt but that a corrupt group saw fit to place it's logo on the front. I don't believe this technique of the enemy is confined to the last few hundred years. In the other hand, I would never try to pull you down or argue with you @Vytas as you are a valued brother in the Lord.

Arguing is what exactly ? We can talk about it, or argue ,have different opinions and be fine...No ? I see no harm in arguing, it forces people to show their best or worst, completely fine by me. Wth with puling me down...so awkward...seriously Red. (like you would be able :p ).
You don't get my point bible itself states that this logo was used by satan worshipers. Question why jews chosen it as their flag ?

Regarding the "Seal of Solomon", Star of Remphan, "As Above So Below" etc etc I have seen all that stuff. I just suspect there is more to the story than is popular in the "Truth Movement" right now.

Now this gets interesting...

Reading around the question on the flag:-

The earliest uses of the Star of David in Jewish culture had little to do with religion. According to historian Alec Mishory, the star was originally used by Jewish printers to mark their ancestry, decorate their books and to differentiate themselves from their competitors. It was during the 19th century, when European Jews became more integrated with Christian communities, that Jews began to use the star as a religious symbol.

“Jews needed a symbol of Judaism parallel to the cross, the universal symbol of Christianity. In particular, they wanted something to adorn the walls of the modern Jewish house of worship that would be symbolic like the cross,” Mishory wrote for the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “This is why the Star of David became prominent in the [19th] century and why it was later used on ritual objects and in synagogues and eventually reached Poland and Russia.”

To me this begs the question - is Christianity invalidated simply because it carelessly celebrates Christmas on 25th Dec (Saturnalia) or Asterte on Easter?! If the Jews did take on board a symbol they would have better leaving alone, that is not in itself an indication that the nation of Israel is the Synagogue of Satan...

Sorry to say, but Islam and Christianity were founded based on reformed pagan customs and symbols. Sun and moon worship. Accusing each other of being Satan worshippers because of that is a bit silly. Judaism has evolved also with time, and Israel's symbol looks like the seal of Solomon so I guess they were going back to their "pagan" influence.

I think it might be more accurate to say that each religion may have absorbed certain symbols and odd customs over time. Some of them run counter to the religion itself.

What has interested me in my study of Judaism Vs the actual Jews of the OT is the melting pot of ideas and customs that it has incorporated over the Millennia. To say that the ROOTS of the Jews are in paganism would as incorrect as taking on Zeitgeist as a credible critique of Christianity.

I see what you're saying in a sense. I've recently, in the past year, decided to keep the feasts and not celebrate Christmas and Easter since they are based on Yule/Saturnalia and Ishtar. I honestly can't not keep the feasts based on the studying that I've done, yet I don't begrudge other believers who do keep Christmas and Easter out of a pure heart if it's about Jesus for them and not Easter eggs and a bunny and Santa Claus. I know it's not (secular) for many believers. In my family growing up there was a big nativity scene and more a focus on Jesus or at least more equal with Jesus and Santa, but as my parents fell away from the faith or I got older, it became totally Santa and worldly focused. I said nothing until recently because I have a problem with that. I don't want to go through the motions if it's going to be a purely secular holiday. But then, the lightbulb came on. Use it as a witnessing tool perhaps. They'll listen to the story of the birth of Jesus on that day. So take the opportunity and don't spoil their joy. Also a good friend was used by God to convict me on that, too. Don't spoil their joy.

I've wondered that, too. Am more than a little uncomfortable with the flag.

That's good. I also try to be not too judgemental regarding other people's beliefs, out of respect. I have found that aggressively confronting someone about their faith, philosophical principles, or even just their family traditions only makes it a lot worse. I don't think you can really convince anyone of anything concerning this, you can only point them in a certain direction.

I have to concur - debate has never really swayed me a millimetre! I will listen to what people say, look into the sources myself and make my own mind up. Call me stubborn but it's how I'm wired ;-)
