You dont even believe, why the hell are you even in here? It’s Mike Pence
Yes, "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9) Good answer! You're very right, my friend. You're also lucky to live there and be able to live out your believes. Sweden has chosen sides and is pretty much owned by the antichrist. And you're right, its hard on the soul to live here. People are very harshminded, non believers and its an overall very hard climate for the heart. I pray for the end every day but also know that we have to be patient. God is dragging the rapture out bc he is trying to save as many as possible. At least thats the answer I had.
Woow, you know greek huh? Looks like a bunch of hibberyjibbery to me, yet I'm part greek. Horrible, I know.Yes, "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." Repentance in the Greek is metanoia, indicating a change of mind, turning away from sin and to God. It's teshuvah in the Hebrew, which maybe has a little more depth as to the turning. From what I know of both languages (not a whole lot, still learning), the Hebrew to me seems more emphatic and emotionally resonates with me more, yet in Greek and in Hebrew, repentance is about the same and very deep.
Not really, but have picked up things from Bible studies and the like. Metanoia comes up a lot, as it should.Woow, you know greek huh? Looks like a bunch of hibberyjibbery to me, yet I'm part greek. Horrible, I know.
Me neither, tbh!I can't tell if I'm more terrified or excited lol.
There are two beasts rising in Revelation 13.Ain't him. He would be like none before him, making great signs in the sky and be very beautiful. He doesnt fit.
The problem is that I don't really see everything as truly becoming worse in a constant fashion. For example, the death rate due to disease and poverty in third world countries have been dramatically reduced in the last 20 years. Also people are finding ways to use technology to help others with disabilities. Wars are less frequent than in the middle ages as well. It's just easier to focus on all the negative and ignore all the positive because we tend to be pessimistic, especially when things go wrong in our own personal lives.I can understand where you're coming from but a key point about biblical end-times prophecy is Jesus' analogy of birth pangs. Birth pangs intensify in pain and frequency nearer the due date. Which I think is a key piece of information to indicate that everything mentioned will get worse. More wars, more sickness, more evil, more persecution. Yes, rampant evil is cyclic and even the bible tells us that there is nothing new under the sun. But to the extent it's been over the last few years even? It might just be me but it feels like things are condensing. No one can know when the second coming is but we can surely see signs indicating we are close -and we have been, for a while now. And while I've definitely seen "Christians" wishing the apocalypse on the world with much bitterness and anger, I think many people of any faith are just tired of the way the world is heading and want it to be over. I know I do.
Agreed. Plus social media is such a farce anyway. To me it was always a "highlight reel" people did to say "Look at me! I'm so much better than you!" I know not everyone sees it that way, but I just got sick of the fakeness and how fake I was becoming on it.To advocate on your side of this. I think our ability to know what is going on anywhere in the world, almost immediately, due to the internet and social media, has made us see all of the bad all of time. It is a constant dripping in our lives. Before the internet, you knew about world politics and world events when you sought them out. I still do feel things are worse but wonder how much that has to do with it as well.
Still impressive, looks like a hard language to me.Not really, but have picked up things from Bible studies and the like. Metanoia comes up a lot, as it should.
I know. Its terrifying how many has been deceived. I've thought the same thing so many times, Red.It occurred to me that if the Antichrist showed up at the UN one week and confirmed a seven year peace treaty in the Middle East, half the people on this forum wouldn't even flinch. So, just in case...
Look at the lovely top comment of that clip.L0LIt occurred to me that if the Antichrist showed up at the UN one week and confirmed a seven year peace treaty in the Middle East, half the people on this forum wouldn't even flinch. So, just in case...

The bit about the UN was literary flare, the peace treaty references Daniel 9:27...How do you know or why do you think that the Antichrist will show up at the UN and confirm a seven year peace treaty in the Middle East ?
Who is the Antichrist ? And must he confirm a seven year peace treaty in the Middle East to be considered the Antichrist ?
