I don't necessarily disagree with any single point you made. However it is a concept of God that seems very impersonal. So no, I would not say that is close to my idea of God.

Muslims believe that the Most Exalted is above the heavens and outside His Creation.
If God permeates His Creation then every worshiper would say that they are worshiping God through that water, land, wood and stone or righteous person or Prophet.

"The innate instinct of man (fitrah). There should be no dispute that man instinctively knows that Allah is above heaven. Whenever something overwhelming befalls a person, and he turns to Allah for help, he looks towards heaven, not in any other direction. But it is strange that those who deny that Allah is above His creation still raise their hands in supplication to no other direction than towards heaven."

That is an excerpt from a Hindu text. I substituted "God" for Brahman, the Hindu equivalent. There is a personal aspect of Brahman-Vishnu. Supposedly, the only aspect of Brahman/God that incarnates into a physical body, Krishna being one. The Hindu Trinity is: Brahma(Creation), Vishnu(Equilibrium), and Shiva(Entropy).
