So what? Those comments are from black people.
You mean mouthpieces for CNN who are trying to tell black people that they can only be democrat?

You don't whine when rappers call each other "n*ggers" do you?
Well he shouldnt seeing as the original meaning of that word is black before white people made it into a derogatory word during slavery...

I find the fact that they are making Kanye's race an issue troubling, no matter what their own race is. You wouldn't see a bunch of white panelists sitting there calling a white guy a "dumb Caucasian", so why is his race an issue for them at all, unless, for some reason, they think black people aren't allowed to think a certain way?

What if I called these panelists "ignorant Negroes"? What if I called Don Lemon a "token CNN Negro"? Would that be a problem?

More of the same.

University of Georgia Protester to Candace Owens: ‘You’re Not Black’
Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle joined Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens on the second stop of Turning Point USA’s Campus Clash tour Tuesday at the University of Georgia. The four spoke to an audience of 1,500 students and supporters, but one protester took issue with Owens’ race.
Among the crowd were protesters who seemed to take displeasure in the fact that Owens is a black conservative.
“You’re not black!” Shouted one agitator while Owens explained why she left the Democratic Party.
“[The Left] believes that someone loses their blackness as soon as they become a conservative,” reacted Kirk, “They did this to Clarence Thomas, they did this to Dr. Ben Carson, and now they’re doing this to Candace Owens.”
“Make no mistake, the Left believes that they own black people,” added Owens, “So when a black person has the audacity to stand on stage and say—I no longer agree with these policies, and I would like to think with my brain as opposed to my skin tone, they lose their minds.”
The exchange begins at 1:56:40
The event’s atmosphere, however, exuded upbeat patriotism and was followed by an engaging Q&A session, with questions coming from both supporters and dissenters who chose to stay and seek dialogue with the four panelists.
One particularly unifying question came from a student who asked Trump Jr. if she could record him saying hello to her brother, who is currently deployed aboard the USS Harry S. Truman.
“Thank you for everything that you’re doing. You exemplify what’s great in America — we want to support our military and our veterans. We want to make sure that we have strength so that we don’t have to go to war. Thank you for what you’re doing, Robert,” said Trump Jr., which was followed by cheers and a standing ovation. (2:01:40)
“It feels like we’re winning the culture war,” said Guilfoyle to Breitbart News after the event, “It’s a transformative time in American politics, you’ve never seen conservative youth more engaged, or more involved with what’s going on in our country, and having a vested interest in being a part of it.”
“The energy in the room was incredible,” added Trump Jr.
“It’s unbelievable to see how the silent majority is silent no longer,” said Kirk, “and how many conservatives there are on college campuses, despite the intolerance of the Left, trying to shut us up.”
The next stop on the Campus Clash tour will be on October 16 at DePaul University, where Kirk and Owens will be speaking to students, despite having been blacklisted by the university for reasons that DePaul has not commented on.

Nowhere did they say that blacks had to be democrats. Also they do not cease to be black just because they are on CNN.
Its clear that people are trying to shame Kanye into hating Trump.

I didnt say they werent black anymore but they can be black AND be mouthpieces for CNN. Its clear that its CNN's platform to be against Trump no matter what he does.

either rappers get to say it and i (being white) can say it or NO ONE gets to say it (which is anti-free speech, so thats not an option). no one has a claim on words.

one can say "token negro" only if two requirements are met: if you are black and if it suits the left. otherwise... its racist.

You can say it as much as your heart desires Polymoog. No ones going to put you in jail for it but as a white guy don’t expect that free speech to be consequence free.

agreed 100%. my point, though, is that the double standard is complete BS.

How is there a double standard here? Black people are capable of deciding for themselves how they wish to refer to each other and my or your input on the matter is irrelevant. Nothing is stopping me from saying it either other than a basic moral compass.

I am not a PC guy, but a black person who says something like that shows that there is something amiss in the other black person being called a "token negro." If african americans can become educated and conscientious, then it is their right and often duty to try and elevate other members of their own race. Also whites can say some other white person is "white trash", it is the same logic there.

im not sure what you are arguing-- at least i am agreeing with you and not seeing what your argument is. if you are addressing the left/right thing, the left has FAR more latitude with these things-- at least the MSM wouldnt say "boo!" about it whereas a person on the right would be lambasted.
the left, whether you like it or not, is the party of political correctness.

i am 100% fine with non-whites saying "white trash".

this is straying from the original intent of the thread of left/right accepted racist (or not racist) comments, but ill say this: black people using the n word: no problem. non-black person using it: big problem. thats the double standard.

its nutty in itself that weve been indoctrinated so heavily that i cant even type the n word out in a civil discussion out of concern i could possibly offend someone.

I don't see this as a left or right thing. Blacks can call each other whatever they want and it will not be racism because they are of the same race evidently. So even Kanye can go on and say stupid stuff like slavery for blacks was a "choice" for 400 years, he has the right to say it and CNN people and others have the right to call him out. He said the 13th amendment should be abolished for Gods sake, and it was the amendment that ENDED slavery. He is clearly off his rocker.

Effing Redneck... that would be the nomenclature. Hick... trash... you know.

He's being shamed for his Trump alliance, most likely-- whether its authentic or not. Youtube's 'the Black Child' has conservative leanings, himself.. no favorites, really, just speaking truth, as he sees it. It's a shame that values are fused with worthless Washington politics. :/

Well you weren’t lying about your empathy deficiency if you can’t understand why you as a white man shouldn’ t say it because there is nothing stopping you from saying it and you certainly have the right to.

Why would you want to say it anyway?
