Recommend this documentary," What the health", it is currently on Netflix.
Factory farming is horrifying and would turn any meat eater into an ethical vegetarian/vegan and I really think we were not meant to eat animal products daily.
Also the amount of food is an issue. There is something to restricting the amount of time we eat.
Quite thought provoking choices.
Have to check this out tonight. Although I'm unsure I can drop animal protein from my diet. Beef probably. I'm more of a chicken and turkey guy. But I do love milk

Corporate control over the food supply is a disaster, i do a lot of travelling in rural parts of the country and its just acres of corporate farms. (The farm subsidy, disguised as an attempt to help mom and pop farmers, is actually just corporate welfare, but thats a different issue)

I really would like to cut out meat but its hard, maybe one day.

I love fish too but the oceans and lakes are so polluted im sure there are problems with that.
Fish is only recommended twice a week max cause of the pollutants

We eat lamb/goat/fish and have tended to stay away from chicken and beef.
I think that moderation is a key to everything and that perhaps the problem is that many people in North America tend to overdo the animal products at the expense of vegetables, fruits and beans.

But we were meant to eat meat every day. That is the main ingredient that our ancient ancestors had access to. It is why the human brain grew to the size that it did. Variety and moderation are key though.

I haven't researched meatless proteins that much yet, but they might be an ok alternative. They are making that stuff in a lab though. Regardless you can't just eat peanuts and fruit. You will end up with pancreatic cancer or something.

mainstream bunk is what that is.
who says homo sapiens sapiens ate meat every day? darwinian professors, or teachers brainwashed by the meat and dairy association?
science could not know because they refuse to face the facts of the real fossil records (which i wont go into on this thread). i dont think the picture is clear on how we became what we are, but humans did not evolve from apes. go check out lloyd pyes information. check out michael cremo as well.
meatless protein is soy protein. its a great alternative for wil wheaton and other soy boys. feel free to start eating it and you can shop for an A cup.

I agree we didn't "evolve" from apes...how could living organisms actually add brain capacity in such a way is illogical. The laws of physics show that things get more disorderly and chaotic as time goes on and no one has ever proven how a particular species could add more complexity to its DNA. The only theory they have put forward is that this occurs in random mutations...but random mutations almost always exclusively add a negative element in the genetic makeup and lessen the chance of survival instead of increasing it.

Cremo's book "Forbidden Archeology" really opened my eyes on this.

And eating meat is not a necessity. I have known a few very healthy vegans and there are vegan body builders. You just need to eat more of the protein rich vegetables, that is all. Also if you can't get organic meat then you are ingesting a shitload of dioxins in your diet. Going vegan will probably be the choice of the future because the amount of resources needed to produce meat is staggeringly inefficient and as the world's population increases then it becomes even less sustainable.

I just finished a documentary titled Food Inc. if you haven't seen it yet I highly recommend it. I knew that corporations and mass production in general are pretty messed up but I was shocked by how sickening the food industry is. All these animals never seeing the light of day walking around in their own feces and pumped with antibiotics they wouldn't need if they weren't housed in such filthy conditions. You can even get sued for criticizing the food industry in 13 states. What a world we live in
Awful!!! I'm happy in my country we still have small farmers growing and raising food in a very natural way.

Cool story. I said nothing about people evolving from apes though. And pretty sure the fossil record is pretty clear. They just didn't have advanced farming techniques. All they could do was hunt animals. They could feed a whole village with one buffalo

we almost agree on everything except the last part of your reply. i read somewhere that if one adds in seaweed to their diet (i think devin said that via dr mercola), they are covered. otherwise, an animal protein source is needed (yogurt, milk, etc.). until a short time ago, i agreed with you about the sustainability of the meat resources but ive since changed my mind. having cows, for example, can improve the soil and help avoid erosion and land degradation when they are maintained in a permaculture-/holistically minded manner.

you edited your post before i could reply...
the fossil record is doctored, slanted, and subjective to the darwinian theory since the very beginning (1860s or so). watch some things on the subject on YT or better yet, get cremos forbidden archeology. the smithsonian is complicit in the deception.

if all of those simple, primitive humans could do was hunt buffalo, what were they doing with iron chains, hammers, and screws from hundreds or millions of years ago?

I quoted you twice and had to fix it. Lol dont get excited.

And I'm pretty sure you need more than hammers and nails to set up advanced irrigation systems. Plus a lot of places simply didnt have the water to make that work.

"With some evolutionary irony, the past 10,000 years of human existence actually shrank our brains. Limited nutrition in agricultural populations may have been an important driver of this trend. Industrial societies in the past 100 years, however, have seen brain size rebound, as childhood nutrition increased and disease declined. Although the past does not predict future evolution, a greater integration with technology and genetic engineering may catapult the human brain into the unknown."

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/how-has-human-brain-evolved/

Now with that said, it's important to know we can't fully understand how ancient humans brains actually operated. You know? There's only so much we can find out from the size of skulls. Furthermore, some species of humans had really small brains but apparently made stone tools. So some of the things science tells us are debatable.

We do know that the consumption of meat is what lead to our enlarged brains though. And all the evidence suggests that bigger brains are way better at developing advanced strategies. Therefore we should continue to have a mostly protein diet. Also, this is supported by all the latest diet trends. Protein good, carbs bad.

You all have a simple choice to make. You can believe the people who still believe in the sandy hook hoax. Or you can believe rational scientific data. If you decide to cripple your own diet because of some made up containments you are screwing yourself. You are screwing your immune system and completely disturbing your own psychological health.

UNscientific american is the CNN of "science" magazines. its great if you want the mainstream story. back in university, i took a class on anthropology. even then it didnt make any sense to me with the gaps in the fossil record. now, after reading cremo and other books its clear that conservative academia has their their theory set in stone and will toss out any opposing or contradicting evidence. magazines like the one you cite regurgitate the old nonsense.

please explain how consumption of meat has ANYTHING to do with brain size.

so its those dastardly sandy hoaxers who are behind the debunking of the evolutionary theory. damn their eyes! well, i certainly wouldnt want to align myself with those conspiracy theorists, so id best listen to you and scientific american. they know best.
whats a containment?

of course it doesnt make sense if you are following mainstream history and evolution. those small objects dont rightfully belong where they are found if we go by what academia says.

Hmm I don't think so. Neanderthals had much bigger brains than us and they weren't nearly as intelligent as we are.

Intelligence and strategy planning are more related to the strength of the brain connections between the 2 hemispheres.

That is just one species of a human at the later stages of evolution. And they evolved from the homo erectus. They had really tiny brains. But they still had some tools and fire.

I really shouldn't have to do research for you. There are countless articles and studies you can find.

I suppose that's interesting. But unless they found a giant wheel I'm not really impressed. They say the wheel was invented in 3500BC. And it's one of the critical inventions of human history.
