Tokiel was claiming Islam's 'angel' is actually Moroni From the Mormon religion.
You didn't know the difference between an angel and God, I don't think you're qualified for these boards.

If you didn't pick up on what the bible said about Satan and that he masquerades, then let me elaborate. Satan is known as the father of lies and he can say or write whatever he wants. Mohammed could have dedicated the Quran to listing all of the deeds of Satan and he could've gone around tearing down idols and proclaiming monotheism peacefully but as long as he denied Jesus as God and the ransom for our sins then Mohammed was still working for Satan.

If God called the Catholic Church the whore in Revelations and Christians agree with that, how much more so do we understand that Islam is not of God? Further, Muslims will get all up in arms if we associate ISIS or Wahabi or an unapproved Surah or Hadiths that were written in the second half of the week with "true" Islam. I think yours is the mystical, Madam Blavatskyesque flavor, no? But then you say that Christians did this in Rome or Zionists did this and then you become a hypocrite. Just because someone uses a title for themselves doesn't mean anything.

You haven't seem to have grasped the simple concept that people lie and Satan lies and he can call himself or present himself however he wants. How deluded must you be to believe that Isaiah 42 is about Islam. It's prophecy, right? Does it have an expiration date? No, it doesn't and if you take a look outside you'll see man making new idols and selling them as technology through A.I. transhumanism and robotics. They also could be described as molten metal that man thinks are their gods. If you bothered to take a look at the next page, chapter 43, you'd see that God is the "God of Israel" written multiple times. He says that He alone is the Savior.

You don't know the bible as well as you think, some might say you don't know it at all beside the talking points you were shown.

If pride is NOT an issue in Islam, you would not believe that you can earn your ticket to Heaven through good deeds or good works.
Yea Muslims continuously go on about forgiveness to erase sins and God's mercy but noooo you only hear what you want to hear.

Meh another one crawling out from under the rock with poor arguments.
Seriously?

Instead of actually ADDRESSING the points (which are valid &, as stated, hold priority over all others; the consequences permanent and eternal) made by LostCoin, you prefer to dismiss them altogether & sling ad hominem attacks instead?

Perhaps I overestimated you, AS.

I am intrigued, however, as to how you would fill in the blank in LostCoin’s question.,...if you can.

The provision God has graced us with comes ONLY through believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ .....which you reject completely.
No we believe in the Gospel of Jesus, we don't believe in the Bible that contradicts itself and science.

What was the gospel of Jesus exactly according to Mohammed? That he was a magician? Was it to show Allah's power to deceive the Jews and Romans into believing that he was crucified? Because if Jesus was just a prophet then he wasn't even a good one. He made few prophecies that most still have yet to happen and then he got killed(but not really according to the deception theory of Islam) by his own people. Then his own followers misunderstood his words and started a whole false religion that Rome, known Satanists, just had to eradicate. You know cuz Satan's kingdom isn't divided? When Satan couldn't kill them fast enough he assimilated it into his own pagan systems and called it good. Then hundreds of years later Mohammed was shown the truth in a way God has never operated and that new method of direct dictation via an angel was actually something one of Jesus' apostles warned of hundreds of years prior?

Modern science aka Scientism was born of the occult and it's hens are coming home to roost. The Renaissance was simply a rebirth of Hermetic philosophy that was re-branded as science. Today, it is so intertwined with valid science that to criticize it is to criticize reality. That you think mainstream science agrees with the Quran and not the bible speaks volumes.

It's also funny that Muslims believe that the Bible is tainted through sweeping changes made by the church but then are reluctant to use KJV and prefer the changed versions of modern bibles. Oh the irony.

Muslims believe the Gospel?

The Gospel (which means “good news”) of Jesus the Christ refers to: His virgin birth (which confirms He was both fully man AND fully God), sinless life, death by crucifixion, burial, and 3 days later....His bodily resurrection.

This was God’s plan to atone for the sins of the entire world so that through believing the Gospel, the believer receives salvation from the fiery Hell we deserve.

You believe this?

Mormons also believe that there are other gods and goddesses outside the Godhead, such as a Heavenly Mother who is the wife of God the Father, and that faithful Mormons may attain godhood in the afterlife.[3] Joseph Smith taught that God was once a man on another planet before being exalted to Godhood.

Yeh because Islam believes that too doesn't it?
Deluded pagans on here
Let me guess. Southern Baptists are the only true Christians?
A true Christian is one who has already RECEIVED the gift of salvation offered by the GRACE of God the Father, through the blood of Jesus Christ through faith alone, not of works, lest any man should boast.

We BELIEVE the Holy Bible to be the inspired, inerrant, complete & true Word of God that He graciously provided & perpetually preserved so we may know & believe the truth before leaving this life, so we are without excuse.

Personally, I am independent, fundamental Baptist.

I'm on my phone and busy most of the day. I see people coming here to quote me and just repeat long winded nonsense.
The nonsense they repeat here now I've already addressed at some level before either in this thread or other threads.

I'm here addressing you primarily after catching you out with your outright lies.
Changing your argument over and over again is a clear sign you don't know what you are saying.

1) The most important test of a prophet is, Isaiah 8:20. To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

The "law and the testimony" was an Old Testament expression for "Bible." In other words, a message from someone who claims to have a prophetic utterance from God must be compared with the Bible. We must test the prophet by the Bible, and not the Bible by the prophet. Any true prophet of God will always agree 100 percent with Scripture. This is the true test.

2) The second test of a prophet is, 1 John 4:2. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.

A prophet of God must acknowledge and teach the truth about Jesus Christ--that He was God in human form. True prophets must also exalt Jesus, not themselves. Most false prophets seek to draw attention away from God's Word and to their own ideas.

3) The third test of a prophet is, Matthew 7:16. Ye shall know them by their fruits.

This does not mean that the prophet will be perfect. God's prophets have always had faults. However, there must be consistency between what true prophets teach and the lives they live.

4) The fourth test of a prophet is, Jeremiah 28:9. When the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the Lord hath truly sent him.

A true prophet will not make false predictions. If a prophet is of God, the things he or she says will come to pass. However, accuracy alone does not automatically qualify a person as a true prophet. Deuteronomy 13:1-3 warns that false prophets can give signs that will come to pass and then use their influence to lead people to follow other gods. A true prophet must lead people to worship God according to the Bible.

Luke 7:28-30. There is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: ... And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John. ... But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves.

When we reject the words of a true prophet, we reject the counsel of God. A solemn thought! The Bible tells us to listen to God's prophets and promises that all who follow the counsel of a true prophet will prosper.
2 Chronicles 20:20 Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

To whom does the Lord reveal His final plans? Amos 3:7. Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

1) the story of Jacob wrestling with the man. Is said to be an angel. Google it

the name Israel as "wrestles with God" is misunderstood as it doesn't mean he fights with God (for God sake who would believe such an absurd thing) but that he struggles for God's cause. Kind of like the meaning of jihad or crusade.

2) I really can't reply to each point since they require detailed replies
But Jesus is not God. The trinitarian doctrine is a false and literal understanding of mystical themes in the new testament that developed.
John 1:1 made two seemingly contradictory statements
The Word was with God
And
The Word is God
These two statements are both correct because one refers to God's Trancendence and the other to God's Immanence.
I can fully believe that God is Immanent in the Word/Son but this is not His Trancendence.

3) just to illustrate the extent of your ignorance
The Catholic church was the one who St Augustine mentioned and followed with the trinitarian doctrine.
So even this doctrine is from Rome.

So you believe the Catholic church to be evil and pagan? Good...and so is your belief that came from it.

But I don't even know what point you are making. The whore of Babylon is actually the Jewish nation and the proof is in Jeremiah 2-3, Zechariah 5 and even Jesus said 'jerusalem Jerusalem you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you"

Again this is a topic o have dedicated a lot of time talking about on this forum
So each time a new Christian comes out from under a rock to make these arguments I really don't need to respond each time.e
It shows the extent of ignorance you faux Christians are living in to be wrong on everything all the time.

I literally have no idea what point he was making
He's like
If you read Isaiah 43 you'll see that God is the God of Israel..

How is that relevant?
I can't keep up with this level of ignorance from these people smh.

Satan can say anything sure ..but there is sound theology in religion that exposes satan.

When Jesus encountered satan Jesus didn't say "I think you are satan" instead Jesus countered satan with sound theology from the scripture.
And the absolute best part is that satan asked Jesus to worship him
Jesus replied

"Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”

10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”

11 Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him."

In fact verse 10 absolutely owns Christianity
Jesus could have said "why would I worship you when I'm God?"
But instead he said "and Him only you shall serve"

Hence the New testament answers the faux Christians with sound theology and they butcher or ignore parts of it when it suits them.

Oh no Jesus never called himself God, he must've been working for Satan too then lol.
Jesus is God and acted and did things only God can do. When He was called God, He never disagreed or attempted to correct anyone who did like the angels did, because He is God.

Revelation 19:10. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

I posted this last year on another forum so I've just copied and pasted it here.
  • Jesus is self-existent (John 1:1–4; 14:6); only God is self-existent (Psalm 90:2).

  • Jesus defines Himself as eternal. “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty” (Revelation 1:8).

  • He is, and has, eternal life (1 John 5:11, 12, 20).

  • He is all-powerful (Revelation 1:8).

  • He created all things (John 1:3). “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him” (Colossians 1:16 NKJV).

  • The Father even calls Jesus God. “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom” (Hebrews 1:8).

  • Jesus is able to forgive sin (Luke 5:20, 21); The Bible says only God can forgive sin (Isaiah 43:25).

  • Jesus accepted worship that according to the Ten Commandments is reserved only for the Almighty (Matthew 14:33). “And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, ‘All hail.’ And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him” (Matthew 28:9). Upon seeing the risen Savior, the converted skeptic, Thomas, confessed, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:26–29).

  • Even the angels worship Jesus. “And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him” (Hebrews 1:6).

  • The Scriptures also teach that only God knows the thoughts of a man’s heart (1 Kings 8:39). Yet Jesus consistently knew what people were thinking, “for he knew what was in man” (John 2:25). “Nathanael said to Him, ‘How do You know me?’ Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you’” (John 1:48 NKJV).

  • Through the Spirit, Jesus is omnipresent. “Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20 NKJV). “For I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city” (Acts 18:10 NKJV).

  • He has power to give life, and even resurrected Himself. “No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again” (John 10:18). “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” (John 11:25).
Therefore, by considering the primary definitions of God, and seeing that Jesus fits every one of those definitions, obviously, Jesus must be eternal God.
