With all due respect, Christians aren't better than him. This article contains a great deal of hypocrisy and a number of untruths. But of course you believe everything the mainstream media writes.

Sure, Crowley did some questionable things, but Christianity isn't without guilt. Your religion has a lot of blood on its hands.

Christianity:
- As soon as Christianity was legal (315), more and more pagan temples were destroyed by Christian mob. Pagan priests were killed.

- in the era of witch hunting (1484-1750) according to modern scholars several hundred thousand (about 80% female) burned at the stake or hanged.

Protestantism had no problem with the witch-burning, and continued the butchery of innocents long after the Reformation. For example, the "Kimg James Bible" comes from one of these murderers. Luther, Calvin and Wesley supported the killing, just as they opposed science.

- 1572 In France about 20,000 Huguenots were killed on command of pope Pius V. Until 17th century 200,000 flee.

- 17th century: Catholics sack the city of Magdeburg/Germany: roughly 30,000 Protestants were slain. "In a single church fifty women were found beheaded," reported poet Friedrich Schiller, "and infants still sucking the breasts of their lifeless mothers."

- Already in the 4th and 5th centuries synagogues were burned by Christians. Number of Jews slain unknown.

- First Crusade: Thousands of Jews slaughtered 1096, maybe 12.000 total. Places: Worms 5/18/1096, Mainz 5/27/1096 (1100 persons), Cologne, Neuss, Altenahr, Wevelinghoven, Xanten, Moers, Dortmund, Kerpen, Trier, Metz, Regensburg, Prag and others (All locations Germany except Metz/France, Prag/Czech)

The Church started killing unbelievers as early as the 4th century. The killing (often with torture) of heretics, church splinter groups, dissenters, atheists, agnostics, deists, pagans, infidels and unbelievers was supported by almost all mainstream Christian theology for over a thousand years, starting with the intolerant St. Augustine (died 430 AD).

Not to mention the slavery and killings in Africa and America.

Okeedoki. Again, I was going to ignore this and do a Sug@ analysis instead but yeah. Yoongs gon' have to wait. Firstly, you completely ignore the basis of the fallacy of your comparison: Crowley's dogma consisted of using wicked deeds to accomplish spiritual enlightenment. His work condemns himself. You read his books, they literally describe sexual ritual abuse and human sacrifice, this is not mainstream information. This is why it's incredibly difficult to find much on the dark side of his teachings, because modern day satanists want to mark themselves distinct from the perception of them many people have, as in the baby-eating and other grotesque behaviours. Crowley had a visceral hatred for Christianity and Jesus Christ above every other religion. Most if not all of the genocides and slaughters you mentioned were carried out or funded by the catholic church. I've already said earlier that there is a difference between Christianity and Catholicism. Catholicism at its inception was invented by Roman Emperor Constantine as a way to unify Ancient Rome. Thus, many vital teachings of the words of Christ were ignored or left out as a watered down Christianity was fused with paganism. This didn't stop the slaughter of Christians in Rome, though. Even the Jews, with their one god, were generally tolerated. So why the persecution of Christians?

In order to understand the Roman distrust of Christianity, one must understand the Roman view of religion. For the Romans, religion was first and foremost a social activity that promoted unity and loyalty to the state - a religious attitude the Romans called pietas, or piety. Cicero wrote that if piety in the Roman sense were to disappear, social unity and justice would perish along with it. I believe the Christians were slaughtered because they were the ones that refused to accept the "amended" version of their faith.

If the Catholics who instructed these killings were truly Christians then explain why Christian protestants underwent the following ten persecutions in Ancient Rome:
●Persecution under Nero (c. 64-68). Traditional martyrdoms of Peter and Paul.
●Persecution under Domitian (r. 81-96).
●Persecution under Trajan (112-117). Christianity is outlawed but Christians are not sought out.
●Persecution under Marcus Aurelius (r. 161-180).
●Martyrdom of Polycarp.Persecution under Septimus Severus (202-210). Martyrdom of Perpetua.
●Persecution under Decius (250-251). Christians are actively sought out by requiring public sacrifice. Could buy certificates (libelli) instead of sacrificing. Martyrdoms of bishops of Rome, Jerusalem and Antioch.
●Persecution under Valerian (257-59). Martyrdoms of Cyprian of Carthage and Sixtus II of Rome.
●Persecution under Maximinus the Thracian (235-38).
●Persecution under Aurelian (r. 270–275).
●Severe persecution under Diocletian and Galerius (303-324).

If you want a real comparison, compare Crowley's teachings to that of Jesus'. Jesus never once instructed anyone to be killed. He was against inflicting violence on other people, he preached love, tolerance, graciousness. Anyone using the mantle of Christianity to judge other people or commit horrible deeds do NOT represent Christ at all. So maybe don't talk about Christianity with such disdain when you not only aren't fully aware of your facts but also want respect for your own personal beliefs. It doesn't work that way. This is the last I am responding to you on the topic of religion.

So everyone knows about Sug@'s tendancy for going all Raven on us and predicting the future. Idk why I was thinking about his mixtape that was already mentioned earlier by a few other posters. Tbh, I never actually listened to the full thing, wasn't really my cup of tea, but for interest's sake I decided to take a look at it. People already mentioned how his song Agus+ D basically predicted BTSnakes's Billboard success. But I think that he also kind of hints at his position in the group as a magician/occultist. Here are some of the lyrics and why I found them interesting:
