Seriously?
Are you acquainted with Christ?

Idk why anyone thinks He's a pacifist.. but they do.
But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil.

@DesertRose: "I see hence in your opinion the prophecies about our future should not be in play in regards to our motivations?
May I make a suggestion?
Instead of asking me about the past perhaps you can acknowledge that which Muslims look upon with hope?
No need to deep dive.
I will point you towards one direction.
The 'coalition of the killing' will lose in the af/pak (and a part of Iran) region and those brethren( along with almahdi) will march on to liberate Jerusalem.

Hope that is enough of a "shallow dive'' for you"

Is this a political plan to unify the Muslim World with a view to recapturing Jerusalem (like Saladdin) or is it an eschatological 'wet dream' derived from your prophesies, devoid of temporal understanding and reasoning!?
Because if its the latter, you'll be hanging around waiting for a Messiah for an awfully long period of time. The experience of Jews and Christians shows that God is not with the gullible and stupid.

No giant plan. Everyone is in charge of correcting wrongs in their area even if it is in a limited fashion.
As Erdogan highlights when speaking about our ideals we are not impatient.
We are hopeful, (pursue our individual efforts) and we can wait for the outcomes as they unfold.

That depends entirely on your perception.

If we are to avoid all "foolish and ignorant disputes"-- especially difficult, where Politics and Religion are concerned-- then we should probably all log off and delete our accounts, right now.

That's not going to happen. -.-

If we have boundaries though, we may elect to draw a line when personal insults are handed out-- for which the poster with the "popular" opinion was not censured, I might add.

But while we are busy judging our neighbor, should I remind you that the measure by which you judge your neighbour will also be used to measure you? Of course not-- because then I would also be misusing the scripture -- not to edify, but as a weapon to further a cause (i.e. taking a cheap shot).

You know, I saw him throwing an extra vowel in his colours, and honours, and such.. but I would not have guessed.

Can't really fault him though :D

Nah I get you and I don't disagree. It was a light reproach if I may be allowed to do so from time and I found the verse fitting because a certain poster can push one to the edge from time to time.

I don't like people falling into traps I've stumbled into from time to time in here lol. It's fruitless to trade blows with a drunk man.

Not fault but can question. I would move to Canada instead of here in a heartbeat but they won’t have me ;)
lol I'm sure there's a story behind that. I would love to see it, myself. Even New England.. in autumn of course.

New England’s beautiful when the leaves are changing. Fun to do Salem and Boston for Halloween. Vermont is lovely just to drive around and take in the scenery

Canada and the USA have pretty strict border controls with each others citizens. Even a dui from 40years ago gets you turned away. They share the criminal database at point of entry. I have no issue getting in, husband does. Can’t do a cruise of Alaska even cuz they all have to make a token stop in Canada. It’s a little bit overkill imo, but apparently America started it so can’t blame the Canadians for doing the same.

I’ve been to Montreal Toronto and Niagara Falls in the past, enjoyed them all, way back when Toronto was the cleanest city I had ever seen lol.

America is a shithole, it confuses me why so many glorify it. And if it is so glorious why they aren’t jumping to move here themselves.

I spoke with a little boy who spends every summer in Norway today, even he said how shit America is. He made very good points. He’s nine.

End off topic // sorry!!

The Israeli oppression continues.........
At least 52 Palestinians killed in Gaza protests as US Embassy opens in Jerusalem

Smiles amid bloodbath: Twitter points out bad optics of US embassy opening during Gaza massacre

I want to know how one justifies shooting down people in cold blood for trying to pass a gate?

@DesertRose: "No giant plan" . . . . . . . . . . . . . Thanks for the clarification. I never thought there was one, either.

Charming video of the Turkish President talking more mindless drivel. A man who controls the largest standing army in the NATO Alliance and who looked on as Bashar Al-Assad wiped out thousands of people in Syria. A man who condemned Russia and Iran for their support of the regime in Damascus, before running across and embracing both countries. A man who condemned the US for its role in Syria but then allowed Washington to use the Incirlik airforce base for bombing raids inside Syria.

If Muslims are keen on liberating Jerusalem, how about applying some pressure on their own leaders.

I'm waiting for the Egyptians, Jordanians and the Saudis to move their missions to Jerusalem, too !?
It's closer to happening than it's ever been. Israel is a matter of fact, and the Palestinian cause has grown tiresome to Arabs who want peace and prosperity.

I think that the existence of the border fence is the major reason for the protestor's anger... The places where they lived until the Nakba are beyond the fence..
That's not exactly true. Please learn the real history of Israel and of the "Palestinians".
