I've decided to create a thread about predictive programming through movies and tv since we already have one about music.
Im a huge sci-fi fan. A majority of the movies and television shows I watch as science based context. There are a lot of references that Im noticing that are the similar across the platforms of all the shows that I watch and I want to highlight them. Hopefully you guys have noticed it too, I'll try not to give spoilers but just to discuss the topic and list all the movies and tv shows that I've watch with these elements.

The way "the future" is portrayed through recent films and tv shows is nothing to look forward. Not to me anyway. It's great to see technology advancing, but a lot of what I see are restrictions created upon society where they have to struggle for survival, more so than now. This post might be long, but I will try to touch on everything.

The newest and most recent topic that is repetitive is the transferring of conscious mind.
The first place that I saw it was on Season 4 of the Flash with the Thinker. He basically uses a machine to transfer his consciousness into peoples bodies. He's able to essential absorb their knowledge and abilities and control their bodies. The Flash series never revealed if the people that were conquered were still "alive" after consciousness was transferred but The Thinker could also take someone else mind and transfer it to himself and in those cases, the person died.
In Netflix's new show Altered Carbon, it is kind of the same premise. There is a futuristic society where people have the ability to switch "sleeves" because they are able to transfer their consciousness to custom bodies.
I watch Pacific Rim: Uprising *Spoiler alert* which had similar connotations, the alien species was able to transfer their mind to a human to eccentially control them.
In "Ready Player One" (awesome movie btw, check it out): consciousness was also transferred and used to create a virtual reality.

War
Most of the futuristic films are the after effects of a War. Whether it's war between countries or war with another species. The future people is a remnant after the war.

Multidimension
Im used to talks of multidimensional societies because I love time travel concepts, so in this context multiple dementions are always discussed in the case of time travel, when you go back in time, you create other timelines and dimensions when you make changes. The world as it originally was continues on, but in a different timeline.
Lately, multiple dimensions have been reintroduced in the case of housing other life forms--in Pacific Rim:Uprising, The Cloverfield Paradox, A Wrinkle in Time, and a little in Flatliners

Secret Society
The implications of a secret society or powers that be are implied more. Ive seen this in the tv show Timeless on NBC about a secret society called Written house who go back in time changing events in history to orchestrate this ultimate plan of a Utopian world which involves getting rid of the people considered "useless." Another show called 12 Monkeys is based around a secret society who also go back in time trying to change history to create a dismal future, this society of 12 babies were born to protect and carry on the teachings of "The Witness" who turns out to be the future son of the main characters. 12 Monkeys is creepy, I think it has a lot of symbolism. They constantly talk about a red forest which me remind me of a Paramore song Caught in the Middle. She sings a line that says, "I was dreaming life away, All the while just going blind ,Can't see the forest for the trees, Behind the lids of my own eyes" This makes me think of the red forest for some reason. I dont like to look at it when it shows on screen, because I think something subliminal is happening. In Geostorms, they actually included government conspiracy in the plot. Geostorms was about man made storms. *spoiler alert* the government using storms as weapons.

Virtual Reality
This connects with consciousness a little, but this has more to do with the technology side, where we are able to be immersed in things without actually being there and this is normally in the high action and super hero movies. Ive seen it at its best in "Ready Player One" the virtual world that was created is the new Matrix. I thought of it as a wall with in a wall, as the real world being a Matrix of its own in it restrictions and contains, and then creating a virtual Matrix as a distraction of the real world matrix. Literally a 3 dimensional internet. Virtual reality is used in most of the super hero and action films. Valerian and the city of 1000 planets

5
I don't know if there is any significance in the concept of 5, but there tends to be 5 people used in these type of futuristic dystopian societies. The heroes or rebels start off as 5 people. Ive seen it in The Maze Runner: Death Cure, Ready Player One, Pacific Rim: Uprising, Divergent Series, and The Black Panther.

Lack of Religion
A common theme is the future has no religion. Man does everything.

The world is different, but humans are the same.

This one is funny to me, because it goes to show war, technology, ideology, government, aliens and what ever else, can't change humans.
No matter how the society advances and the world changes humans by nature stays the same, but we fool ourselves into thinking that we have become better because the technology is better.

Transhumanism
The last point brings me to transhumanism, the idea of merging with machine or another biological species. This also goes hand in had with transferring consciousness because it's using the mind to control a machine as well as being merged with machines or merged with other creatures to enhance the human.

Let me know guys if there are other ideas you've noticed.

I just remembered one more thing:

WOMEN
Women seem to be used when it comes to introducing new agendas in society.
Stereotypically the woman is the birther, the nurturer, the provider, the caregiver. It seems that women become the mask of evil because of these types of stereotypes, kind of like MOM from Futurama. It's almost like saying, trust the face of a woman, because why would she harm you? I didn't want to get into race, but it's usually White women who are portrayed like this. The Divergent series, Hunger Games, The Maze Runner: Death Cure, the 100, etc.

***A little off topic, but with the #metoo movement and all these secrets coming out in Hollywood about sexual assault, one of the first things I thought was. If men in power are sexual deviants, then what are women in power doing? Im curious to know, because Im sure that there are women in power out there with scandalous double lives that we don't know about.

Have you looked at Warner Bros?

I believe they are used by the CIA as propegators for predictive programming. This is most definitely the case in the music industry, I have found too many examples of this to be coincidental.

It was the CIA who coined the term "conspiracy theorist". They created the stereotypical preconceptions of the conspiracy theorist in the movie of the same name.

If you haven't seen the film I'd suggest you do. I wrote a post about this elsewhere previously, copied below.....

Just to demonstrate the psychological techniques used on the general public it would benefit you to watch this film.

https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0118883/?ref=m_nv_sr_2

Made my Warner Bros...who else eh? It portrays the main charachter Mel Gibson as a wide eyed , totally paranoid maniac who kept food in padlocked jars in the fridge. He even had a metal lined cap!

This portrayal sculpted the perception that all "conspiracy theorists" are afflicted with, a sort of mental illness. Which is very much now the general consensus.

I personally think that Gibson later realised he had been used unwittingly in an Industry led psy-op and that's why he's been subsequently been heard at times making anti semitic protestations. He knows full well who owns and runs the film and music industry.

Reading your words a thought occured in my mind: all this hollywood-mainstream-sci-fi-big budget-give me your money-octologies are about dystopias. Never about utopias. Correct?

So they want us to be aware of a possible future that can only be real if people accept it. And by repeating a special scenario it will be accepted.
Yes that is totally correct.
The Hermetic Principle of all is mind is applicable here. Everything has to be thought about first before it can materialise in a physical sense.

The biggest misconception people have is they think the entertainment industry is exactly that, entertainment but it is not.

The mediums of film and music are used to display these psychopaths visions of our future. It's implanted into our subconscious minds via movies and songs over a prolonged period of time. It's an occultists method of operating in plain sight without affecting your conscious mind.

I agree
With you guys but I don’t know about you but a utopia is not realistic with this world because mankind always says us the same. The future I see depicted is not the future I want.
The future I want calls for us to lower the value of materialism and focus of real people. That’s gonna require us not to be selfish and to consider others. —- not gonna happen. The future I want is to have standards and values. We’ve been fooled to think that laws and rules are meant to keep us chained in but laws and rules create a standard and structure for us to build our beliefs and expectations. To much and yes there is suffocation but too little and you have chaos. The future I want is less dependable on machines. Even tho we have technology I wish that we could learn things without technology first to have that knowledge so that if the technology fails or goes away we don’t become useless. A society that focus on the well being of the inner person and that uses technology as a tool rather than a criteria. But we won’t see that either. It doesn’t have to be perfect but already considerate

If you say it's not going to happen then you are really removing the possibility. If you say that you're going to work towards it, then you will make progress. Our actions create our society, we can make better choices and choose not to allow the messed up world we have right now.

The next stage in man's evolution.
Hence this:

"A black, steel monolith nearly three metres high has mysteriously appeared in a park in the American city of Seattle.
The unmarked sculpture, planted on a grassy knoll in Magnuson Park, seems to have been put in place on New Year's Eve.
It is believed to be a reference to the black monoliths featured in the classic science fiction film 2001: A Space Odyssey, a collaboration between director Stanley Kubrick and writer Arthur C Clarke."

9/11 happening at the turn of this century wasn't by accident. I believe that one event was meant to set the tone for the rest of the century, a dark one at that.

So I’m a little disappointed but one of my fave shows 3% on Netflix released with a season . I was excited because I wanted to see this world they were all fighting for and guess what... the same mk ultra, control, programming ridden mess. This is not the future I want for our world.

These people fight for a better life, yes they don’t have to be poor but they are sterilized and constantly watched.

There are two choices to be poor and live like shit but you can reproduce and get by or to have all your basic needs met on the cusp of luxury and be sterile. Both lives are heavily monitored and controlled.

Woot what a life (sarcasm)

This is getting really old. Sorry for the spoiler but two of my shows, Timeless and the Flash has revealed the master plan of the villain in the series and they are basically the same, one wants to get rid of the unnecessary people in the world and keep the ones that bring value. The other wants to "enlighten" people by wiping their brains and reteaching them. whoopty daisy

I noticed the "5" aspect too. Weird isn't it?
Still reading op...
You got me digging...

I came across a new release by metal band Dystersol...

dystersol-thefifthageofman-cover2018.jpg

Perhaps a more honest representation of what the Fifth age of Aquarius will look like than was pictured in the 60's.

As this is the entertainment thread, it is perhaps enough to say that the emerging ruler with the look of a Roman Emperor from the earth, with people in subjection to him, has a certain Biblical resonance.

It's not the first time I have seen Roman Emperor symbolism...

In my line of work I have to visit the cinema quite regularly with the young people we work with.

I recently watched this film which I made a couple of disturbing observations of.

First of all I thought the timing of the film was highly inappropriate considering current events around the world.

In one scene we saw 3 year old Zoey having to have her nappy changed, this was to try and get a cheap laugh over the terrible smell you get when changing a babies nappy but a short time later Zoey is able to reel off every satanic music artist in the music industry (BTS, Lady Gaga , Wu Tan Clan etc)....it didn't make sense for a child with such extensive knowledge of satanic music artists but was still not able to say she needed to visit a toilet.

A line from the movie stuck in my head.

"Kids are like fire, you can't control them, you just have to contain them until they run out of energy"

I found that line particularly sinister considering large parts of Australia are now nothing more than a charcoal mine.
