I don't know any of those artists...it's a big thing being in that list ? :/
Isn't it a bit messy to release an album and imediately perform in another country? Personally i find it kinda difficult but i don't know.
I don't know if that event is big deal because i never heard of it tbh.
The line up isn’t as great as it could be, but there are some big names on that list, and the event is definitely a good event for them to play on especially at it would be their second event (first is the rocking eye performance). Them performing at it would be a really smart move. Also, I was expecting them to perform their comeback in Korea but seeing as this comeback is going to be bigger than the ones we’ve seen before and they’re aiming for America, I wouldn’t be surprised if they do have their first stage at the BBMAs. We’ll see what happens. BBMA nominations are tomorrow so if they get a nominee, there may be an even bigger chance in them performing since they expressed that they wanted to.

As for the event, last year Big Sean, Zedd, Demi Lovato, Gucci Mane, Major Lazer, Camila Cabello and DJ Khaled performed. The year before it was Ariana Grande, Calvin Harris, J. Cole, Martin Garrix, and Fetty Wap. The year before The Weeknd, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Jason Derulo, and Skrillex performed. So it’s definitely a great event and the biggest names in the industry have performed at the event, so if BTS were to headline it like the artists mentioned above.. it would definitely be a big deal

If they will perform their comeback in US i don't know how their korean fanbase will take it tbh(probably not well).
I know only 4 names of that last years list, umn, must be a event important only for americans? I hear only americans being excited about it.
Anyway, i think Olympic was definately bigger event compared of that jocke of a lineup...seriusly...seems not big stuff, but i'm not american so probably it's big only for americans, if BTS aim at becoming american stuff it's a great move.
The Olympics would have been a great event for them to perform at but for whatever reason they decided not to. And yes those names are big names so it would be a really great opportunity for them... but we still do not kkw whether or not it is actually them!

I think there's a pretty decent chance they may be performing in the US during their comeback. I don't think it's coincidence that they finally released the date of their comeback after much anticipation and speculation just days within the Billboard announcements. And Billboard usually would've announced their nominees by this time so the fact that they're waiting later this time around is weird. Both parties have been more quiet than usual so it seems like they're planning something together. There's more hype because of this so if it turns out they won't be participating in the Billboards whatsoever it'll be a shock.

Plus the release date is perfect timing for a FULL WEEK of tracking with Billboard so it's pretty clear they're wanting to push for it this time around compared to before.

fans on twitter are saying the new album is called "tear" and it will be about “the pain of the boys who is facing the parting” looks like a very depressing topic.

This reminds me of the survey BigHit did a while ago when they asked armys if they suffered depression
I was susrprised they were asking such personal questions, but now they are making a full album about sadness and depression. suddenly it makes sense

Honestly seems like bts and billboard are hand in hand with this. It's gonna be huge. I'm kinda scared. I don't think people are actually ready for the heavy impact and change this is gonna bring.
There are big things planned for them
I think it's scary too,. how big companies support them and promote them so much

I'm sure they are performing at the bbmas

they will promote their new album in america first . wonder how korean fans will react
Well, damn. That's not even a hint but pretty much an unofficial confirmation that they'll be participating in the event whether it's a nomination and/or a performance. Probably both considering the fact they're using a background that's heavily speculated to be the concept of their comeback complete with glitches, so it seems like they know what the stage will be focused around.

And this all happens the day they announce their comeback and the day before Billboard announces the nominations...

they will be part of the event for sure
but a big award show like bbma, focused on american artists is now using the glitches that are supposed to be part of BTS next comeback
You have to wonder how much power this group has right now

why
That's an anti that invited anti to troll armry, i've seen that about a week ago.

Anyway if bts will perform first in USA i think their Korean fans won't take it well, it is well known recently the two fandoms are kinda fighting and definately don't like each other, personally i don't see what BTS would gain in performing in such a mediocre lineup when they rejected OLYMPIC that would made them Korean pride and shown to the world.
would an anti do that? it just seems like someone that wants to get people thinking about theories

sometimes i wonder if their company gets people to go on twitter and start things..

I know I'm late but I'm new here so. But in regards of bts I don't get any type of gay or bi vibes from any of the members. I believe bighit does try and make some ships look 'real' by having them do things that the fans can then over analyze and freak out about. I personally believe they are straight. I will admit jimin has 'changed' but I believe that's what bighit wants us to see, a 'softer' jimin. He could be completely different and probably is behind the scenes. I've also noticed alot of people believe rm or suga may be gay or bi based off the fact that they have shown their support for the lgbtq+ community (more than the other members). I don't think showing support for the lgbtq+ community means you are part of the lgbtq+ community.
Actually we can't really tell if they are gay or not unless they voice it out, many people think they could be gay . If big hit is pushing this agenda on them that sucks especially if their straight. But big hit could've also signed up boys that are gay. It's easier. I don't know who they're having sex with shouldn't be my buisness . I just care about the music (and conspiracys )

You're right I was just saying I don't get gay or bi vibes from them, but we'll never know until they speak out on their sexuality (which they don't have to)
we will never know if they are gay unless they speak about it. Shipping is normal in kpop but their company promotes an agenda, that's why they put all those "clues" in their music videos
And I agree with you when you say they act this way on camera because they know fans will overanalyse it

You can find a million Taekook and Jikook videos in youtube, the fans analyse all their actions and the company pays a lot of attention to social media, it's impossible for them not to know those two ships are so popular

I wonder about this too
Not long ago one fan made an online game and she used BTS members as characters. The game became really popular on twitter and it was about one of them being a murderer or something

one day after the game was over bighit announced an "official" BTS game was going to be released and I thought it was a strange coincidence

I'm pretty sure Namjoon is bi though haha.. i've seen a video where he acted nervous around a talk-host it seemed like he liked him based on his body language and someone in the comments seemed to agree with me

But if you ask me I really don't care about sexuality lol

It makes sense though seeming how hardcore of a supporter namjoon is to the LGBTQ+ community
But other than that I feel like some of them might be bi but not truly 100% gay

But who am I to judge since I don't personally know the members
